Just growing a few potatoes, tomatoes, cabbages, and salad greens. I might plant beets, but since I live by myself and the girl I'm dating grows her own garden I'm not going all out. Thought about growing some cotton, but that damn Lincoln freed all the help.

I did turn more of my lawn over to the hay field this equals less mowing and more mooing. I often wonder what my life will be like if I would never live around cows I'm so used to them.
Life is like a fire hydrant- sometimes you help people put out their fires, but most of the time you just get peed on by every dog in the neighborhood.

Having 10 acres and my head is spinning with what I want to do with it. My wife, more practical, asked to built a green-house (non-political of course but might be 'multi-cultural', I hope the plants aren't racist as me).

I think about an 8'by16' foot start. It's mostly for seeding now (it's a bit late for Montana but better late than never). I read about year-round greenhouses, heated by the sun in winter. Will try that one.

I think more about fruit trees and bushes (from apples to nuts to grapes). My wife thinks about carrots, tomatoes and so on.

The place I live in is zoned 5a, seems I can grow quite a lot.
