I have a hummingbird feeder outside near my window. They're interesting creatures.

Have you any idea which species of hummingbirds are endemic to your area?

Some people in Holland succeeded to breed these very delicate birds, I have seen them in beautifully arranged vivariums at expositions.
Fascinating creatures, indeed, but dont put two males together; they are very territorial and respond on each other with fights to get the intruder out of the way.

We also have hummingbird feeders around the yard - they're such beautiful little things!

Have either of you tried butterfly houses as well? We have a few and no luck in attracting any yet though.
