This is an excellent book about the immigration disaster in the US. Brimelow makes a good case against largescale immigration into the US & especially of non-Whites in contrast to the establishment's claim that we need immigrants because they contribute to economic growth & that diversity makes us a better nation. The situation in the US has only gotten worst since this book was first published in 1995. If you don't already have this book & you live in the US, I suggest you download it & read it.

Honestly, not to offend anyone, but USA has always been an alien nation. All the white people in America, are originally from Europe, so I can't understand why anyone complains about more immigration.

Most White people in America are from America. 87.5% of my ancestors who were alive in 1800 were already living in America. Myself & those with similar family histories are not aliens in America. We belong to the founding population (Anglo-Saxon with other Germanic strains) of this country & we are the ones who are being dispossed by the current immigration crisis. The Aliens are the non-Whites who have been allowed to immigrate over the last 40 years - mainly from Latin America & the Carribbean but also from Asia & Africa.

Meaning what? That everyone is equally entitled to come to America. Are you suggesting that Anglo-Americans should be dispossed?:angry:

Equally one could say many European populations are "alien" to their current geographical location.

The "alien" point becomes moot after the incomers have established themselves and mixed their labour with the land, to create new habitations. The early Americans truly created something out of nothing. Moreover, the new incomers are not capable of creating the same thing or of maintaining that level of civilisation without European-American help. Look at what is happening in South Africa.

Even the "native Americans" came from somewhere. North America was and is an expanse which can contain different factions, geographically separated.

Anyone ever read the original 'Planet of the Apes' book?

That's very apt and almost a satirical look at White apathy towards the 'apes' who finally take over and subdue the 'humans'. eyes:

Over time the humans became more and more dependent upon the apes, until eventually they became so lazy and degenerate that they were overthrown by their ape servants and fell into the primitive state in which our protagonist found them.

Never read the book. But I did see all the "Planet of the Apes" movies in the 70s & I did see similarity between the humans & apes in the movies, versus Whites & Negroes in real life. When the films came out, Negroes were still the only significant minority in the US. The uprising of the apes in "Conquest of the Planet of the Apes" I think played on the fears that Whites had of a major Negro revolt. Actually I think the makers of the "Planet of the Apes" series were sympathic to the idea. The apes were shown as being unjustly suppressed. The hero of the film was Caesar, who was a MLK type character - at least the way that the media like to portray MLK. Regardless of the fact that the films were sympathic to the Negroes.. um, I mean the apes, I think it would cause a major uproar among Negroes if they ever thought that the apes were suppose to represent the Negroes in the White-Negro conflict.

True, all humans are alien to North America but that doesn't have much significance, when Americans complain about immigration we're doing so from our own perspective. We prefer our own Anglo-European derived culture and wouldn't care to see it overrun by those who are alien to it. Whether we've been on this continent for 500 or a mere 50 years, it doesn't matter. Each tribe or nation looks after it's own well-being, and Americans are no different.
