Mayan Ceremony to be held at Stonehenge

This is old news but is shocking to me, it really shows how "Universal" this planet is, and how people are pushing universalism.

MAYAN dancers will be hosting a traditional sun ceremony at the Neolithic Stonehenge monument later this month.

    Mayan ceremony........at Stonehenge

Well, we don't really know WHO built Stonehenge, when, or why. It's not really like holding it in the Vatican or Westminster Cathedral. Neo-druids to the contrary, Stonehenge isn't a sacred site to ANYBODY. It's just another venue.

If this Mayan dance were to be held at the Arena di Verona or the Collosseum, I doubt that anybody would bat an eyelash. The Mayans may well be GIVING the site more spiritual significance than some seem to think they're taking from it.

I wonder what they think of Stonehenge. Maybe it's just me but I wouldn't feel quite right holding a blot on top one of those Central American ziggurat things, for example. That'd be a bit too uni for me I'm afraid.

I have been to the Mexican pyramids, and indeed offered blessings to OUR ancestors there, as the local mythology of a God being a Blond haired, bearded man who came from the sea rushed in on me.

So, chalk one up for a White Pagan using *their* sacred sites.

Although the thought of a bunch of feather-wearing, mud hut dwelling savages holding a ritual at the mighty Stonehenge is a bit galling, Power Points around the world *should* contain the same energy.

I suppose anyone who can feel the Ley Line energy in the ground should be allowed to venerate it in their own way.
