I have smoked it on several occasions (yes, it is legal in the US and Europe), including the 10x extract. The smoke is not unpleasant (very light), but the effects... sweat, mental confusion, loss of balance, slur: somewhat like banging your head against a wall!! I never experienced any 'trip' or 'high' from it. No visuals, no ego-loss, interesting mental associations or increased perception. However, many people like it. I don't think it's a harmful substance (you wouldn't want to take too much of it anyway), so I guess it's worth checking out...
PS the only way to smoke it is through a bong. Light it very warm, and inhale deeply for about 8-10 seconds.

I've tried it also, not very interesting...the effect didn't last for a long time.
