Either by saying they're supposedly Jewish or Arab; I'm surprised people aren't beginning to see through this heap of propaganda by now.
Is is worth than that ! ! !
The whole thing is based on a single fingerprint ! ! ! No mention about any methodology of Modern genetics.

i link here an article a friend of mine talked me about: a very though critic of this "discovery"

Some arab moroons go a sfar as saying that he was even "Muslim".

The authors of such claims are absolutelly ignorant about Leonardo Da Vinci ; he left thousand of personnal writings in which makes no mention of Mosleem faith nor of arabic culture; all he wrote is in either italian or latin not a single line written in arabian. And all his firends were Italian or europeans at best...
Same thing for some moroons who pretend to see judaic symbols underlying in his painting .. .while other scholars rather see neoplatonic symbollogy ... and contrarely to the other alleged "connections", the Neoplatonic influence of Leonardo da Vinci via Marsilio Ficino are very well documented
