    Germanic

I'm an American, a proud Southerner and even more proudly 100% Germanic (Saxon, Swabian, and border Scot).

    Hmm...........well, i'd say i'm 100% pure Alpin-Padanian..........

Obviously doesn't exist e similar ethnicity. So i have to say Piedmontese (extreme north-west of Italy, confinant with south-eastern France).

I'm rather proud of it and i wouldn't change anything, although, i'm not against moderate mixing between Europeans ethnicities.

My genealogic researches trace back to 1600 (about) for my family. 4 centuries ago. Before there aren't documents, so i can't know...........

I should order a good Dna test from internet..............

My ancestry is purely Celtogermanic, but a mix of ethnic groups falling under that banner; English, Irish, and Scottish chiefly, with some Welsh and distant German. I take a great deal of pride in all elements of that ancestry. I can see the positive aspects of having a "pure", mono-ethnic background, but since it can't be changed, I've opted to work with what I have and be bloody proud of it.

Well, I am 100% Norwegian. Well, me and my sister, that is.

We can trace our bloodline for hundreds of years, and we'll see that we never immigrated from Norway.

So, if I am proud to be a "pure" Norwegian? Hmm... Well, it does sound good. And it feels good, for I know where my ancestors lived (mostly) and that I walk the ground that my ancestors walked. Pretty good.

But I'm not proud of Norway, as it is today. So, I am proud of my heritage and my culture, but not of my country as a state.

Well, honestly, I couldn't imagine how it would feel to have more than one ethnicity.

    Celtogermanic:

    Father: English, Irish, Scotch-Irish, Dutch
Mother: English, German, Scottish, Irish, Danish

And of course I'm proud of this mixture of Northwestern European ethnicities.

    100% Dutch...

It doesn't get any more exotic than a 17th century Flemish refugee in my family tree, but technically the Flemish are Dutch too. Or at least they were back then.

thats pretty wild n' crazy, LOL

my bloodline is fucking nuts- full of Scotch/Irish soldiers, at least one English Privateer, and God only knows how many Indian braves.

My father's line had soldiers in the Civil War, War 1, War 2. My mom had Korea, Vietnam, and a lot of Dutch ancestors from the Catskills (many a-war to be fought i imagine)

lots of blood in my blood
