Yes, I enjoy that song, too. I like some of their others, too. Basically, I'm the queen of 80s cheese, ha ha.

None of the songs mentioned I would be ashamed about... Why are you?
I believe that religion, generally speaking, has been a curse to mankind - that its modest and greatly overestimated services on the ethical side have been more than overcome by the damage it has done to clear and honest thinking.

...that no discovery of fact, however trivial, can be wholly useless to the race, and that no trumpeting of falsehood, however virtuous in intent, can be anything but vicious.

...that all government is evil, in that all government must necessarily make war upon liberty...

...that the evidence for immortality is no better than the evidence of witches, and deserves no more respect.

...in the complete freedom of thought and speech...

...in the capacity of man to conquer his world, and to find out what it is made of, and how it is run.

    ...in the reality of progress.

I - But the whole thing, after all, may be put very simply. I believe that it is better to tell the truth than to lie...to be free than to be a slave...to know than be ignorant.

Oh dear, I'm revisiting this thread after 13 years.

At my former workplace, my French bosses would allow me to listen to music while I worked, and they introduced me to French new wave. The following song by Lio became a favourite of mine, but the song annoyed my bosses and they shouted at me in French to turn it off whenever I played it.

That's the strangest looking banana split I've ever seen, by the way...
'Well, what are you?" said the Pigeon. "I can see you're trying to invent something!" "I-I'm a little girl," said Alice, rather doubtfully. She found herself at last in a beautiful garden, among the bright flower-beds and the cool fountains.

OK Alice, I could not make it that through banana split song....I could see why your bosses wanted it gone.

I listen Funk from time to time....reminds me of the 70s and 80s.

Besides...."why must I feel like that, why must I chase the cat, must be the dog in me"

Life is like a fire hydrant- sometimes you help people put out their fires, but most of the time you just get peed on by every dog in the neighborhood.
