    Scariest Horror Film?

What's the scariest horror film you've ever seen?
I saw 'the Omen' when I was 14 or 15, and it scared me to death, but the only film I've seen as an adult, which scared the crap out of me, was John Carpenter's 'Prince of Darkness'.

Halloween was the first movie that scared me...of course I was 12...

But recently, The Ring and Saw scared me. I was keeping the lights on @ night for a while after watching those :runaway

The dénouement of Burnt Offerings had me utter a short cry and a few gasps to have the shock ebb away...how a little make-up, a hoarse creaky voice and pulling an stern face suffice to make you jump from your seat.

Prince of Darkness scared me most because of Alice Cooper's appearance.

Event Horizon was one of the scariest movies for me. And there was this black and white mummy video with Christopher Lee. "The Mummy". I saw it when I was six or seven and it scared me to death!

I have the tendency to look upon horror movies as comedies. I never get scared, all I do is either laugh when something nasty happens or wonder how much make-up time went into the scene's creation.
