    A Landvaettir in my Garden?..

I think I may have attracted a land wight into my garden. Perhaps sounds quite far-fetched but..a strange thing has occurred with both my hedges & a sickly conifer I am desperately trying to heal & nurture.
This conifer (which I think may be a type of blue weeping spruce) is important to me as I raised it from seed/cone (years ago) from the parent tree...which was actually my mothers.....long story... ...but I got this sapling brought up to me by a friend and then planted it in my current garden.(some 3 years ago)

Since then...the poor thing has suffered....it is the worst tree I have....But for the past month it seems to be making a remarkable recovery...and at this time also a strange 'indent' in my hedges (Duranta 'Sheenas Gold) seemed to appear overnight.
I regulary trim this hedge & keep it looking solid....Imagine my surprise after 2 days of a trim & finding a life-size throne/seat impression. (A few metres directly in front of the sickly tree). My partner couldn't believe it...There was/is no explanantion for it.

I regulary tip my beer slops in this spot (I always seem to throw out 1-2cm of beer in each can to the ground when I am in the garden) and empty any left over cat food/meat in this part of the garden for the birds & any stray cats that sometimes take up residence in the far back cottage.
Food and ale offerings are known to attract the land spirits....and my distress over my sickly tree and my devotion to my plants perhaps attracted a Landvaettir to aid me?..

Anyway....here's a couple of pictures of the hedge. (Looks more obvious in real life)
