This is a made for German TV movie I am assuming...? I'd be very surprised to see something like this make it to American TV....

I've got it on DVD and it's true the Elder Edda story is different, primarily by including Saxons instead of Goths, no Huns and yes, 'cornrows'. Other than that, it's better than the Fritz Lang version, etc. In fact, I find the original story behind LOTR very touching and it's affected me deeply.

Also, Kristanna is very pretty, but gone lesbian.
