    Plants/Herbs for Cats

:smt001 While looking for some additional info on Catmint (Nepeta x faassenii) I found this rather cute & informative link. Some of the descriptions about cats reactions to Catnip & so on are very amusing. (though I am just a cat lover, and find the comical side of felines lovable :smt003 )
Also plants to avoid around cats & indoor plants. :smt002

I've got LOADS of catnep in the garden.

It looks lovely in the summer and it just drives the cats crazy!!!

A good tip is to grow it in a hanging basket so that ol' Felix doesn't eat it all in one go.

It has no side effect on cats and as a Human I actually think it has a very nice, lavendery smell to it.

I'm going to plant a load at the end of the garden as it's also apparently a deterrent to rats and as my garden opens up to a stream, we get a lot of them under our back shed.

    hey just found this:

Apparently you can make a relaxing tea out of it too. Well I'll be!
