Were the Poles Identical to Germans?

Picture was taken by the Germans during WW2

If I'm not over speculating this pictures shows that many Polish and Germans were genetically very identical to the Germans. And through some of the documentary which I'm not sure if this is true, it had been written that German were teaching the Polish children the German language. It might be, the only difference between the German and the Polish are the language and the culture but not their genetics. As we all the know the Polish were caught up with the period of nationalism and their main concern were the Russian instead of worrying of the Jewish problems.

I think (in Poland) it was the same situation that has been going on in the UK.

Germanics as a sizable population "coexisting" with somewhat similar europeans be it celt-picts or balts/slavs. There were racially nordid/CM europeans that weren't germanic in cultural terms that the third reich saw as "lost blood" that needed to be reclaimed.

The children were the easiest to re-educate I suppose.

In Mein Kampf Hitler describes the Poles as being Jewish and the Slavs as being ''Caucasoid mixed with lesser Asiatic".

In my opinion Hitler is not as Black and White as most people paint him out to be. He did hate the Polish and Slavonic peoples, not because of their phsyical appearences (at least for the ''Germanic'' looking ones) but because they inhabited his living space and held an identity that was hostile to the Germanic peoples.

Much like Hitler did not hate the Turks, Japanese or Africans. Granted Hitler would not have tolerated Turks running through Berlin as they do now, but he was not a White Supremacist as say someone like William Pierce.

Hitler's favorite actress was Pola Negri and he himself was reputated to have enjoyed Russian Opera. Some have even think that Hitler may had been an Islamophilia, among other things.

Rather the Slavonic people had the misfortune of inhabiting the lands (Hitler's lebensraum) next to Germany. If they were Germanic in appearence and could be Germanized then nothing was wrong with that. And this is something the Austrians, Germans and Prussians had done for centuries.

And this is something Hitler was doing in the Second World War. But it was not the primary objective. Hitler did not invade Poland or Russia to Germanize the few ''Germanic" looking people. Rather Hitler wanted his lebensraum and anyone who could be Germanized would have been an afterthought and ''icing on the cake'' so to speak.

The Polish Polonized and intermarried with a lot of Turanid and Asiatic peoples. Some Polish leaders did recently (300 YA) try to identify who is who, by adding ethnic suffixes (Ski = Polish; Sky = Jewish). But this did not work. The Polish today are largely a mixed people and hold no sense of Nationalism. There are no Natonalism parties in Poland. The closet thing in Poland are parties that are strongly Roman Catholic, often with phrases like "Rather a Black Catholic than an Athiest Pole".

There really is no ethnic identity in Poland, other than to the Church of course.
