The blunt chin is simply Combe Capelle or a Proto-Mediterrenean trait and while both Cheddar and Combe Capelle are dolichocranial, they're not like Cro Magnon longish and flat-vaulted, but arching, the occipital region less jutting, actually more steep and rounded, like Chancelade; the latter contributed in the opinion of German anthropology to the formation of the Nordid race, while the French held him for the progenitor of (some?) Mediterrenean race, to which I include the Dinarics(some lineages however have imo originated from other strains), which are merely progressive and brachymorphic Atlanto-Mediterrenids/Natufids, their short-round skull shape best explained as an evolved suppression of the occiput, which manifest itself in the Capellids and Chancelid race, continuous till the Mesolithic when the first great brachycephalic wave occured.
