Feel free to discuss and get to know eachother. I myself would like make a few more contacts off this site and get to know a few of you better. Whether on the forum or MSN (PM me your details if you like) etc.

So, yeah... Hopefully this thread won't be a complete failure.

I'm not the best at being social, so hopefully one of the more outgoing members can help me get this going.

I'm fairly irritated, the HR department for work has messed my pay up and won't do anything to sort it.

Leaving me $1029 poorer :(

I may change all their login passwords without them knowing it though, that ought to teach them to mess with my pay.

Oh, so you work as a tech? I love tech work but no one believes that I'm any good, but they are surprised in the end.

So is New Zealand pretty rainy right now? I remember it rained a lot when I was there (when I was like, 3).

Do you play any computer games? Playing online would be a good way to get to know some people better, and fun to boot!

New Zealand rains a lot, then it goes for ages not raining. It's rather annoying, I'd rather the weather was consistent at least.

Games are great, however I play games to avoid socialising.

Hey, me too (about games).

I've just moved into uni and it's been fun. I'm making friends.

I only play logic puzzle games(such as sudoku) I used to be quite a video game addict in my childhood and early teenage years. Eventually I realised how counter-productive it is to make video games dominate your entire leisure time. Occasionally I code text-based games with simple goals.

I sort of feel that this forum was best in the start and later became more disorganized and unlikely to produce anything.

I find video-games more fufilling than this "Socialising" thing people always speak of.

I like to think of socialising with people (on the internet) as a video game. Except it's no fun and you go to jail for shooting "zombies."

Just look at her avatar! ;)

If any of you do game, what games do you play?

As far as socializing... I'm from Minnesota. It's hot right now. Can't wait for winter, and snow, and hot chocolate drinks.

Most people around me are extremely boring to talk to so I just talk to the interesting people on MSN.

Depends whos on, some people are just as boring in real life... I have 120 odd people on my list and of that only talk to 3-4 on a regular basis depending.

I don't even know why I go on that anymore, or anything social for that matter.
