Though some history is available in English reporting on the suffering and ethnic cleansing of Geramnics from East Prussia after the second world war, I cannot find much at all about the same fate that befall West Prussians after the First world war and that would have been a reason towards Hitlers invasion of what became Poland.
Thiers mention of the Broomberg http://judicial-inc.biz/Broomberg.htm

But this could be said to be a retribution towards Hitlers invasion, my Father however tells me that our family had to flee West Prussia even before Hitler came along in order to escape the persecution of the ethnic Germans living in what was now a part of Poland, we had to leave all our property behind including houses and land.
Of this I can find no mention, I understand there may be some German works documenting such.

Does anybody have any information please on Germans having to flee West Prussia as a result of the treaty of Versaillies?
