Simply anybody know something about this Icelandic surname (Benzann)?

I believe most Icelandic surnames end in "son" or "dottir". They still use a patronym system in Iceland were children take their father's given name as a surname. Are you sure it's not Lebanese. I notice you include Lebanese in your profile as part of your ethnicity. "Ben" is a prefix in some Arabic & Jewish
surnames, I believe it means "son of".

this name is of my grandmother'r mother and she from iceland, and if tis surname isn't icelandic could be german but no way Arab.
