View Full Version : Post Examples of Borreby Beauties

Lately for some reason I've estranged from the typical leptomorphic nordid female ideal and infatuated with the round-headed borreby type. This might be just a temporary mood, or then not. ;)

Post examples of beautiful Borreby ladies here.

The epitome of Borreby beauty. Marilyn Monroe

It does, at least with me. In Québec (where I live, French-Canada) many good-looking girls are round-headed, with delicate skin and great bodies :thumbup

Unfortunately being Half-Cuban and having some native american ancestry, I am afraid Diaz won't qualify on this thread. However, Beautiful and round-headed, she is.

Half-french, half-Irish, Rose McGovan approaches metrically Borreby, but not quite.

Michelle Williams, Yep, you got it. Perhaps slight amerindian influence, but she's in.;)

I don't think Cameron Diaz being half-Cuban should have anything to do with her not being able to be Borreby. Cuban is not a race.

So in your logic Cameron must be cubanid + amerind w/ borreby admixture.

Plus how is Michelle Williams part amerind, if anything shes part baltid.

Gwen Steffani can be borreby mixed with mediterranid.

Well, if the lastname does not ring any bells,

"Cameron Diaz was born in 1972 in San Diego, the daughter of a Cuban-American father and an Anglo-German mother."

IMDB

The amerindian ancestry from her mothers side is quite visible for the plain eye.

No, cuban is not a race! ;)

Was Marilyn Monroe Borreby before her plastic surgery though? (As Norma Jean Baker) Apparently she had, at least, her nose shortened and made to look more up-turned.

Yes, you are predominately Borreby with slight Baltid. I think it's the latter element which polishes off your face quite nicely. Also, I've never really seen such huge and striking eyes before. Maybe you had a Czech or Russian Grandmother. You have a slight "eastern" look to you.

Very beautiful and elegant looking either way! :thumbup

Who loves Skadi? I do! I've only been a member for a short time but I'm totally hooked!

Okay, to the point...I've had two members independently identify me as Borreby...and thank you to those kind folks who did.

I was a little disappointed at first, because I know I don't fit into the 'classic Nordic beauty' category but that's okay. It's also pretty neat to look into the various nationalities of Borrebies and imagine where my ancestors were from. The only thing I know for certain is that my parents were from England (they passed away when I was too young), and their last names were Wright and Baisden...

Anyhow, for some pictures! Because us Borreby ladies have to be proud of our skull shape, too ;)

I'm a short Borreby, too. Just 5'2.

Most of the women in this thread aren't even Borreby. :-O

Most of the times, textbook Borreby women won't always look attractive - see Angela Merkel. :P

On average however, Borreby women tend to be conceived as more attractive than is the mean for other subraces, more because it has more of a friendlier next-door type of vibe. This forum houses good examples of Borreby beauties, those I can remember of the top of the head know who they are anyway, so as to not make the other lovely Borreby lasses aboard feel undervalued. ;)

For better known examples, I can think of the following though :)

Foster is Nordic + Borreby. How can somebody who is predominantly Nordic be considered an example of "Borreby beauty"?

Imagine 18 from Dragon Ball as a real woman. Should she be classified as "Borreby", "Fälisch" etc, because her face is too broad to be a Nordic example, despite the fact that her elegant narrow features are obviously inspired in the Nordic race?

https://i.postimg.cc/9rTYrGng/8icsl1wc.png (https://postimg.cc/9rTYrGng)

18 is clearly the caricature of a beautiful Northern European (Nordic) woman. To think anything other is complete nonsense.

Most "Borreby" examples floating the Internet are not Borreby at all, or only partly Borreby. To claim that they are Borreby is like the mostly white people in the USA who claim to be Indian because they are 1/64 Indian or whatever. "Dalofaelid" is a bogus taxon and most of these people are just Nordics with Upper Paleolithic admixture.

Nordics are basically Mediterranoids from Northern Europe that have been "nordicized" through some sort of selective process giving them finer facial traits and often a lighter complexion.

https://www.theapricity.com/snpa/troeplate29.htm

The problem is that too many people only classify textbook examples as predominantly Nordic. Taylor Swift, for instance, is nowhere near Borreby and is obviously predominantly Keltic Nordic.

This is what a Borreby female is supposed to look like. If she is beautiful or not, I leave up to the observer. But she has an unsual look, because predominantly Borreby people are not common.

Carleton Coon coined the taxon- Keltic Nordic. I don't see the point of the -id suffixes, but to answer your question, roughly yes.

These two are Keltic Nordics and not any kind of Borreby or even Bruenn.

In German the -ic is -isch, as in Germanic (Germanisch) or Nordic (Nordisch) etc. ... to me it makes more sense this way, but on all sites about phenotypes and classification they always use the -id suffix so I (and many others) adapted to it.
