It'll probably be filled up with jews and half-breeds as always. Utter blasphemy if you ask me, but then again no jew ever asked me what kind of movies I would like.

Oh that dark, yet mesmerising, European/Hollywood Gothic, rising like stale air from the crypt that is the old continent. It's good we have spunky all-action heroes to save us from it all. ;)

I wouldn't label Matt Damon as an "all-action hero."

I've been seeing a bunch of previews for this movie. It looks like great fun. Of course I will put my knowledge of the real brothers Grimm and the tales they recorded to the back of my mind for viewing as I don't expect much more than pure fantasy with some borrowed elements. I like period movies (all the yummy clothing:-), I like dark movies, I like fairytale movies (not counting Disney -yuck!), and I like Heath Ledger and Matt damon so this should be enjoyable at the very least. :valkyrie

It´s an insult to German culture. The Grimm brothers were staunch nationalists.

In fact, it seems like the producers embezzled the whole "scientific" work of the Grimm's, e.g. the "Teutonic Mythology", which is a lot more than "a collection of fairy tales".

Anyway, it'll be a classic Hollywood movie, but the special effects and the whole scenerie looks very nice, like "kidnapped" from Tim Burton (whose "Corpse Birde" will be in the cinemas very soon...).
