What is the difference, if any, between East Baltic and Regular Baltic? I've also heard of West Baltic. It's all very confusing. Nordish.com only has a listing for E. Baltic. So does Cosmo's guide post in the Physical Anthropology section. If anybody could help, and perhaps post pictures, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'd like to make it a complete guide but I can't do it myself since I don't have the resources. I don't have an answer to your question.

West Baltids are mesocephalic,Borreby or Faelid being the more dominant trait(aside from Neo-Danubian or Ladogan) IMO.East-West Baltid, it's all the same to me anyway.

I think east-Baltids are predominantly UP type with pseudo-Mongoloid features, while Baltids have more gracilized features.

In other words, I don't have a clue :)

Could be that as well.

I never heard of 'Central Baltics' :) just East or West. West are blond Borreby or other UP Nordic with some small 'Ladogan' mixture, and East look like 'Ladogans' with a little Nordic alteration and depigmented. Despite the name being taken from Lake Ladoga, I think such people can be found all over Europe.

Perhaps it is time to revise and revive my Ladogan classification system? ;)

West Baltics are mesocephalic Fatjanovo types. They can be thought of as essentially robust Nordic types. East Baltics are gracialized, brachycephalized West Baltics with Uralolappoinoid admixture.

West Baltic (Ivan Demidov):

East Baltic (notice rather flattish face, laterally projecting mallars, heavy eyelids, and rather low nose) (Iya Arepina)

I think this Swedish football player is a good example of the East Baltic type:

Judging by his long face and jutting chin, he looks mixed with Nordic...

He's mixed but predominantely Osteuropid = Eastbaltid/Nordid.

One feature alone doesnt make one a member of a specific subrace.

I know, but I was pointing out what I felt to be a typical East Baltic feature.
