Ethnic minorities themselves decide not to visit Britain's national parks.

http://www.bnp.org.uk/images/bullets/spacer.gifhttp://www.bnp.org.uk/images/bullets/spacer.gif A £1m plus project to “encourage” ethnic minorities to visit Britain’s national parks is to be launched today (Thursday 19th May). Incredibly funding for such will be found through scrapping popular guided walks said to be used “mainly by white, middle-class visitors”!

Just think about that for a moment! No one contests that these facilities are, and have always been, available on an equal basis to all sections of the community. Yet because ethnic minority people apparently choose not to avail themselves of these facilities to the extent that “white, middle-class” people do – it’s the “white, middle-class” visitors that are to be penalised!

The basis upon which this absurd project is based is that of ethnicity. To be more accurate it is about favouring one section of the community at the expense of another - in this case indigenous Britons. Quite clearly the proposal is both discriminatory and racist against those of us who happen to be of English, Scots, Irish or Welsh origin.

This racist project will require the training of “community champions”, paid for – yes, you’ve guessed it - from public funds. And their stated role will be to liaise between the parks and ethnic minority communities – no mention of the “host” community, you will notice, whose taxes largely fund it.

This discriminatory project follows comments reportedly made by the ethnic-minority chairman of the UK's race Gestapo – who, it is said, bizarrely claimed that the absence of ethnic minorities from the countryside was a form of "passive apartheid". This, of course, makes as much sense as claiming that the absence of zebras from the Arctic was a form of “polar apartheid”!

In promoting this latest injustice against indigenous Britons the BBC, in its report, is once again seen peddling the demonstrable lie that “ethnic minorities make up 8% of the UK population” – a figure derived from the 2001 Census for “non-whites” that ignores the several million people resident in Britain who consider themselves “white” but who are, nonetheless, not indigenous Britons or even, in a great many cases, British citizens.

The Mosaic Partnership, as this imposition is termed, is apparently the culmination of a three-year project involving the tax-eating “Council for National Parks” and the “Black Environment Network”, both funded by us – the British taxpayer.

The Chief executive of the former body reportedly said of the project, “it is an alliance between four National Park Authorities. These organisations are committed to building stronger links with black and minority ethnic communities and encouraging greater participation in their own activities".

The four national parks involved - the Peak District, Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire Moors and Brecon Beacons - have been selected being adjacent to urban areas having huge and rapidly expanding ethnic minority populations.

National parks are currently “endeavouring” to comply with the latest Race Relations Amendment Act which places “a duty” on service providers, such as national parks, to ensure discrimination did not take place in their service delivery – the one exception being, of course, where indigenous Britons are concerned.

Land and People unreservedly condemn this latest act of racism against the much abused indigenous peoples of this, our, homeland.

It is Blasphemy to degrade the beautiful countryside with such campaigns.

I´ve always thought a sight of a nigger in the sacred woods would be just sheer blasphemy. Then again, the woods are deep and dark, some say that people disappear in them...

What percentage of the English population do you think are non-native, Loke? I just can't understand why Britain allows any immigration when it is already heavily populated.

I cannot believe that they have gone ahead with this!
This was in the news several months ago, I recall posting it on Skadi when this issue was in the news back then, though there was a flood of protest, and the "powers that be" apparently backed down, and said there would be no change to the free guided walks.

Seems they were lying through their teeth the whole time, and planned to scrap the guided walks all along just because only Scots/Welsh/English people felt inclined to spend time in Nature.

As someone mentioned then, are basketball courts racist, because only negros feel an inclination to visit them? Should public basketball courts thus be closed also?
The complete and utter insanity of the phrase "Passive apartheid" says it all...
