VÄRING, you seem to know a lot on this subject. I was wondering what the 'Göta type' looks like. Pehaps you could add a few photos of this type?

Thanks in advance

The Göta typ is the same as the Hallstatt Nordic, as far as I know.

Sure, no problem. I'm not Göta myself, but most of my ancestors are Götatyper.

Michael Rooker

Do you think that he is Gotatyp? He looks too robust too me and is perhaps more of a Faelid or Brunn type.

Certainly not. I think he is a text book example of Irish Brünn.

OK, I misunderstood your post then. Again, I think that he is Brunn (Faelid perhaps) as well.... Thanks. :)

A massive chin, and huge browridges would be out of place on a Gotatypen. Hallstatt and Gotatypen are different in their descriptions. Hallstatt has significant Battle-Axe (Corded) which made their skulls longer, and less wide. Gotatypen has less Corded in their formation. :beer-smil

No harm done. I think he looks similar to Coon's Irish Brünn.

Stephen Boyd should also belong to this general type.

2. Julianne Moore

My mom's got a lot of the same facial qualities... although she looks a bit older, 'cause of her past drug use/cigarette smoking *frowns* But the same bone structure, skin type, eye-shape...a LOT of similar features :)

Surely Bennet and I aren't the only ones who would like to see some splendid examples of this fine sub race posted here? Please add your extreme Brunn pics here! I'll start with this bloke named Ben Davidson, an American ex-football player and actor. These are screen caps from Conan the Barbarian. Ben is 6 foot 8 :O :guinness:

Is Shirley Manson of Scotland, Väring?

I believe so, yes. Bertil Lundman noticed a very strong Brünn presence among the Scots.

I think many so called "Irish Bruenn" show a tendency of gracilisation and/or Nordid-Atlantid admixture, especially nasal and eye region look different from more typical Dalofaelids f.e. from Westfalen, Netherlands or Norway, still their overall head shape and features are typical.

These just look like pics of Irish people with various mixes of Brunn. None of them look like a textbook example to me- exept for maybe that one actor guy.

Face is too high and narrow, midface even more so and traits somewhat to gracile-refined for a typical Cromagnid.

I dont buy Coon's theory about every overgrown, large scale Nordoid being automatically "Upper Palaeolithic", which almost nobody else believed in neither.

This predominantely Nordid female shows in which direction you deviate from the Cromagnid standard (the Nordid one):
