"PAMIRID (Central Asian Interstream type; Pamir-Fergana type (Yarkho); Pamiro-Ferganid)

According to von Eickstedt's (http://www.snpa.skadi.net/gloss1.htm#VON EICKSTEDT, EGON FREIHERR) typology, Pamirids are relatively unmixed Europid (http://www.snpa.skadi.net/gloss1.htm#EUROPID) Turanids (http://www.snpa.skadi.net/gloss2.htm#TURANID) (as opposed to Turanids (http://www.snpa.skadi.net/gloss2.htm#TURANID) showing Mongolid (http://www.snpa.skadi.net/gloss2.htm#MONGOLID) admixture, namely Aralids (http://www.snpa.skadi.net/gloss1.htm#ARALID)). They are very brachycephalic (http://www.snpa.skadi.net/gloss1.htm#BRACHYCEPHALIC) (CI (http://www.snpa.skadi.net/gloss1.htm#CEPHALIC INDEX (C.I.)) > 85), and may be considered Alpinoid (http://www.snpa.skadi.net/gloss1.htm#ALPINOID) in some features, Taurid (http://www.snpa.skadi.net/gloss2.htm#TAURID) in others (they are curvoccipital (http://www.snpa.skadi.net/gloss1.htm#CURVOCCIPITAL) rather than planoccipital (http://www.snpa.skadi.net/gloss2.htm#PLANOCCIPITAL)). The Pamirid constitutes the prinicipal type of the Tajiks."

Pamirid ("Turanid" Pamirid ("Turanid") skull
after Glowatzki) (after Lundman)

- SNPA Glossary (http://www.snpa.skadi.net/gloss2.htm#PAMIRID)

The term derives from the association of the type with the Pamir Mountains (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pamir_Mountains).

I can't agree to be honest. The eye part of this man clearly speak of mongoloid influence. In the urban areas of Tajikistan you'll find a lot of such types, sometimes very well noticable or in extremes (assimilated "Mongols"), while in more rural areas people look more and more Pamirid - until you land in the southern mountainous provinces where people fled the turkic/mongol invasions. These people actually disdain mongoloid influences which I find rather interesting.

I'd say this man here looks more "Pamirid/Asian Alpinoid".

The links to the pictures do not work anymore it seems,
even SSL-yfied.

As one explanation about 'Gorid' I had found this one on forumbiodiversity :

As for your last question, Gorid is Eastern version of Alpinid.
The difference between Gorid and Alpinid is that Gorid are higher skulled,
has Ost-Eurpoid influence and somewhat lighter than average Alpinid.
Gorid is more progessive than Alpinid.

A picture by the BBC of three young Tadjik soldiers I had found :

"There are hundreds of Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Uighurs and Chechen fighters in Afghanistan,"
says Tajik analyst Kasimshoh Iskandarov.
In May the government was shaken when a senior Tajik special forces officer
defected to the Islamic State group.
He joined the hundreds of young Tajiks already fighting in Syria,
many of whom regularly post videos on social media enthusing about
their new lives and generous salaries.
Although the IRP had no seats in parliament it was popular
because it spoke out about issues like corruption and the rights of migrant workers.
The Russian economic downturn, which has hit the earnings of millions of Tajik men
who work in Russia and send money home, has also sparked concern.

The middle one looks Arabic to me, the tall one to the viewer's right Chinese,
and the short one to the viewer's left looks kind of Russian to me.

Both the left and right ones have the broad lips and small mouth in common;
and their noses have similarities, too.
