I'm not too much into blondes. Brown, black, or red, are about of equal beauty to myself. Though I ought to add, red heads with white porcelain skin (no freckles thank you) and bright blue eyes do hold a special place (think Shirley Manson). Main thing is that the face is nice, that is critical.

The preference for redheads is enigmatic and mysterious and I would like to fathom its deeper essence, but I guess this puzzle will remaine among the unanswered. It is their angelic countenances, deep and deeper eyes, pale skin with fiery volcanic highlights, blazing lava spurting from the top of their heads and a few things I would rather disclose in an X-rated forum.

I assume we will have to wait for mr. Light for another undisputed vote. :D

Needless to say that dyed hair is out of the question. :acry

I think you should have seperated the poll into light brown, medium brown, and dark brown, instead of just brown. There is a big difference betwen light brown and dark brown.

My personal preference is medium brown, although to be honest hair color is very low on the list of things I care about. Of much more importance is facial features. In fact, even if hair is curly or straight, is more important than the color of the hair.

I think Triglav hits it right about red hair, blue eyed beautys. They are beautiful, then rare, and dare I say it almost a danger there. All in all, makes for a very attractive creature indeed. :)

Shirley Manson has green eyes but you get the idea. Can you believe she was ridiculed mercilessly as a child for her looks and called "bloodhound" and "frog eyed"? The Scotts did not know what they had!

You must like Sigrun then :P (I don't know about the breasts though, lol, Sigrun don't get mad, hehe).

I prefer blondes, my girlfriend is a natural blonde although she recently dyed her hair black (she is a metalhead), damn. She is supposed to let her hair back natural, maybe she succumbed to pressure from her boyfriend, lol (not really, she is free with her choices, as long as it is not some goddamned punk colouring!).

I can't see myself in any long-term relationship with any non-blonde girl (maybe a redhead would do, too bad Sigrun doesn't have any younger sisters, hehe), but who knows, if I get married I definitely want blonde kids, at least in their childhood.

Dark hair is not to my liking unless straight and coupled with a pale complexion, if those characteristics are lacking, she won't appeal to me, sorry. Anyways but basically if the girl is white, Europid, I don't base myself much on looks (but they definitely have an impact).

The hierarchy would be Blonde, Red, Brown, Black for me (there could be exceptions though).

I must admit the majority of redheaded women I see are attractive and quite Nordic.

There also seems to be more of a sense of identity with redheads, than with blondes. Perhaps because redheads are more often seen as strange, and also because their hair is more distinct and doesn't fade like hair blondism does.

http://www.redheadsunited.com/

Another thing I like about redheads, is it seems to be truly indigenous to Europe, as blondes appear among North Africans, Semites, even Australian Aboriginals. But I'm unaware of redheads appearing in these groups.

Don't ya just hate to browse the internet for hot redheads and these fake redheads, sometimes mongrels, pop up? Ew, what blasphemy!

Realmofredheads.com is a great site, however, I am annoyed that one HAS to be a redhead (natural or fake) to join, and that they actually require you to pay to be a member (and it's not even an adult site.)

There is defintiely a sense of identity that redheads share amongst each other, which, in my opinion, is one of the most appleaing characteristics about them, w hich i love so much. They are an elite unit (much like the A team :D) and they have a personal club which they do not like poseurs to enter.

As far as fake redheads are concerned...while I admire their eternal longing to become elitists, they are not faking anyone, and would be much more appreciated if they stayed their own natural colour.

Sounds like they're just guessing most of it. :)

Notice this: "Of course, red hair is not exclusively found in pale-skinned people. In Jamaica, there are families with deep brown skin and bright red hair. On the island, the red-hair gene was brought from Europe a few hundred years ago, possibly by white sailors who fathered children there."

BUT, they have the redhair gene because of racemixing! Not originally, so that's a stupid statement. They have a mongrelist agenda, obviously. Just like they must automatically assume that just because former studies showed that the redhair gene was 100,000+ years old, older than the supposed "Out of Africa" movement that created us all, then it must be Neanderthal. It's this politically correct theory. As if the multi-regional model can't even be suggested. So now they have some "new theory" about how it's only 20,000 years old. Very suspect. :)

Seems the only redhaired nonwhites are those from products of racemixing. I'd be interested to see any studies which isolate pure nonwhite groups and see if they have the redhair gene.

The movie Dogville is unusual not just in the production, but also that there are so many redheaded actors in it. It must have been purposeful. Nicole Kidman and that guy who is married to Jennifer Connelly, Paul Bettany, are in it, and he's a redheaded Nordic. He and Nicole would make a cool couple.

A few weeks ago, I got into ANOTHER (mild, this time) fenderbender on the freeway. I pulled over, as did the car in front if me...the doors on both sides opened... and low and behold, two, GORGEOUS redheaded TWIN sisters. I thought I was going to have a stroke. I expect the number of blond- and brunette-lovers to increase as the ‹ntermenschen awake from their slacking-off and all night partying to crawl their way back to this forum and find this thread.

The masses are so predictable and dull. :zzz

We have, and that's the point ;). you're just grouchy because the percentage of redheads has dwindled. :P

I, for one, am glad that the numbers have dwindled. It annoys me when masses of people enjoy the same things I enjoy. True affection for redheads is something special, not to be popularized and tainted by the general populace.

It's nice to hear that men like women with hair like mine.
I'm a redhead and a blonde (I have pale strawberry blonde hair).
If you've got nice hair, it's good to grow it--Mine is waist length.
My body hair and brows are clear (white-blonde).

Hmm how about a more unusual combination such as Black hair with pale skin? I have seen a very beautiful Hungarian Woman who had that combination with grey eyes.

I went through a redhead phase when I was about 4 but it somehow vanished. I think red hair is prettiest for women. But only when its natural or if its dyed the woman should have fair enough skin to pull it off (like Kate Winslet). Dyed red hair looks really silly on naturally dark women. I admit to having dyed my hair red a few times, rufosity connoisseurs could probably tell as I don't have the legendary redhead mean streak. :dlook

However, they could not have been more than 18 years old. They were very nice, and there was no significant damage to their vehicle, hence no need to call the police. However, we did exchange phone numbers (for insurance purposes, if needed.) I have not called them as of yet, nor do I think that I will.

Are you insane call them man!!!!!! Unless you have a girlfriend that is.

"Med" huh? I thought she looked like a Northern Indic when I saw that picture. Upon further inspection I think it's even more probable. She appears brachycephalic with wide cheekbones and a lower-rooted-than-average nose. Hair looks a bit coarse too.

Black or dark brown hair is optimum for beautiful Caucasoid women, acting as a frame, thus enhancing their beautiful features. Blond hair looks good on less beautiful women, drawing attention away from their facial features and softening their look.

I'm not fully convinced about your theory, Dienekes, although the brunette whose picture you posted is very attractive... I usually find that brunettes can range from ugly to extremely attractive, while blondes don't take to either extreme.

Sorry, I fail to see the attractiveness of the posted individual. Frankly, she looks like my sunburnt podgy cousin at the age of 12. There are by far more attractive Mediterranean females on this planet. There is no accounting for taste (and each to their own).

I'm usually only attracted to darkhaired Nords, or half-Med peripheral Nords at worst. The distinct Mediterranean types are usually too gracile, too dark, and are too close phenotypically to Middle Eastern people.

Out of all the Meds posted so far she is the best at least.

Interesting observation. Actually, my theory predicts such an outcome. Dark hair focuses attention to one's facial features (in the same way that a frame does to a painting). Now, if a woman has nice features, then this adds to her beauty, since the eye focuses more on these nice features => brunettes can be extremely attractive. If she doesn't have nice features, then this detracts from her beauty => brunettes can appear to be very ugly. On the other hand, with blondes, the "softening effect" helps detract attention from less-than-perfect features making ugly women less ugly, but it also detracts attention from very good features, making beautiful women appear to be less beautiful. Therefore, the perceived variance of beauty in brunettes is higher than in blondes.

99.9% of women color there hair, as well as apply thoulsands of other cosmetics, if it comes down to finding a naturaly beautiful girl, theres nothing that can beat a true redhead, like my mother =)

yes my moms galacian Armenian, her sisters call her krayokas (fire head), the youngest sister in the family also has reddish hair but its mostly brown. Beleive it or not red hair is common in western Armenians, probably because of mixing with Galacians, but even less common is blondism. My fathers a Giligian, which is similar to Western Armenians, but blondism is common in them, they call other armenians sevaris (nigger-like) but not derrogitory, and they also call other Armenians Yabanji (turkish for UNALIKE). Sometimes it's hard to say I'm Armenian because my Armenians are almost extinct, and Galacians speak their own language, as do the Giligians. But there are so many tribes amongst the Armenians, anyone can say theyre an Armenian.

I tend to prefer brown, but in general hair color is not an important factor to me.
It depends. There are true blonds which dont fit in what I would call beautiful and some are very beautiful/perfect and its the same thing with other hair colors.

Red I only like if it fits in very well, if the girl has a natural look.

Quite simply, yes. Although since she doesnt let me see him i fail to see how she can make that judgement. Maybe shes psychic or something.
