Where does the Hulkster fit ? I would say he's a hallstat. Of course, if confronted with him I would classify him as whatever he would like to classified as :P Would not mess with a man of his size

Robust Nordid, Bruenn, Nordid-Borreby or maybe Anglo-Saxon would be options.

Well, his last name is Bollea, which in question, makes it hard to determine. I can see that his last name could possibly been changed. His real hair color is like a light brown. I can see the Dinaric a bit.

What a strange thing ; I've discovered he could be Italian, in origin. His real name is Terence Bollea.

I posted him here because there is already a thread at Dodona about him. It is even possible that is where you got the info about his name. But unlike Skadi, Dodona is in chaos and for some reason many members are biased against Northern Europeans. I want opinions from more qualified and calm members here who do not post at Dodona.

I think he would look quite unusual in Italy, even in the northern part. You probably agree, as you are surprised about his name.

A number of sites give the information about that being his real name. Wikipedia is one of these such sites (although there are numerous others). Apparently, his father is Italian-American and hsi mother is of French, Italian, and Panamanian descent.

Is he really that atypical of even Northern Italy? How is he so different than other similar northern Italians such as Fabio or even KULL? (I had to throw KULL in there, because I think he looks like Fabio in some pics. ;) )

Fabio:

Compare Hulk's younger pic that you posted above with this pic of Fabio.http://www.fortunecity.com/olympia/mcmahon/48/multimedia/hoganold.jpg

I mean, I DO see big differences between the two and do not think that they are of the same type. I also see some similarities. It is also important to note that Fabio bleaches his hair, and I have always suspected that Hulk does as well.

Some links to other pics of Hulk and also Fabio:

How would you classify him, Glenlivet?

Borreby-Nordid

A robust Nordid variety? What do you think?

Regardless of the nationality of his ancestors, I believe he has a phenotype which come close to the most Nordid (better: Northern Europid) element in Eastern England (and Netherlands?). I also know a Swedish guy who resemble him. I do not think it matters if he has bleached his hair and beard. He is still on the light side. A small dark Mediterranid cannot alter his look in such a way. The base is there.

Thread at Dodona about him:

http://dodona.proboards35.com/index.cgi?board=guess&action=display&thread=1111530037&page=1

A guy at Dodona think Hogan is Atlanto-Mediterranid, which I think does not make any sense whatsoever.

I wrote the following at Dodona. He is in fact little different from the Gelderland (the Netherlands) man in one of Coon's plates in "The Races of Europe". I can also detect a slight Dinarid component in Hulk Hogan's phenotype, but the Gelderland man look a bit Dinaroid too, even though that is not how he is classified.

His chin and vault may show a similarity to Dr. Phil McGraw, whom I think is Dinarid. I have not seen a profile of Hogan, which makes it more difficult to make a good analysis.

I think that he is quite possibly predominantly Falid (with a Dinarid component?) or Coon's Anglo-Saxon. Nordid altered by Borreby (which may instead of Dinaroid explain some of his features) is also possible.

How would you classify him, Glenlivet?

What??? Atlando -Mediterranid? What an insane classification indeed. That guy was probably a fan of Rick Flair. :D

He looks Swedish to me. Maybe because he wears that yellow shirt all the time. :D

He does look like a kind of Swede, a face which is more common in the working class.

The nose look a bit Taurid-influenced in this picture though:

That seems reasonable to me.
