Classify Kate Winslet. UP? She seems too ''sturdy'' to be really Nordic and her pigmentation also seems more UP based.

I think she's Anglo-Saxon + Brünn. She's naturally blonde, I think. Her ex-husband is a nice looking blond guy. They (GASP!) reproduced their own child.

She's a nice role model for girls as far as Hollywood actresses go (still not saying much, ahem..). I guess it's nice to see someone who doesn't barf up all her meals. :P

hehe.....she looks exactly like my ex-girlfriends sister.

Of course, there was a different mixture here, her mother is an East-Baltic, and her father is a Dinaric-Mediterranean... and the result is a Kate Winslet look-alike. Interesting, no? :)

Can you classify Kate Winslet..:S:| :D
Her nose and some features of her face are a little strange to me...

One part Cro ("Irish Brünn"), one part Nordid, which in this case resulted in *stunning beauty!*

I've always thought she was beautiful.

I'd classify Kate as Anglo-Saxon.

I think she has some sort of atlantid or medish strain present in minor admixture.

I agree. The Nordid component seems at least part Atlantid*, or, in other words ... about 40% Cro-Magnid, 50% Nordid and 10% Atlantid ... That's not so much a statement about her actual composition, as a summary of my own intuitive impression of her morphology.

*By Atlantid I mean any gracile, leptoseme para-type intermediate between Nordid and Atlanto-Mediterranid.

Kate's maternal great-grandmother was Florence Theodelinda Lidman, of Swedish parentage in England. She also has some Welsh further back. She kind of has a Finland-Swede look to her, but mostly very Anglo-Saxon and similar to my wife. Both Kate and my wife come from families rooted in the same part of England.
