Crusades were to make a European Union out of Atlantic/Basque/Centum/Roman Christendom and Caspian/Caucasian/Satem/Armenian Orthodoxy lands. Civil Wars between Nords and Meds led to ultimate failure in repelling Asians, with a Capitalist United States vs a Communist Soviet Union.

What do you think?

I connected themes that had nothing directly together about them, but trends certainly influenced one another. The unification of East with West didn't happen until Victoria ruled both Britain and India, but failed to forestall the contemporary Cold War global schism.
