We've had some threads in other areas of the forum I think wherein we have seen pics of some of the whitest of white Europeans , indeed what old AH, or H Himmler, would have dreamt of perhaps as the "ideal Aryan" , but what about some pics of the blackest black men / women you've ever seen (on the Web, in books, or otherwise) ?? My own , so far at least, a Ugandan boy.....

Some guys from EastAfrica are blackest in the world.

the Negroid tribes in West and Central-Africa are also very black.

I'n not meaning the Port cities of these countries, because of the slavetrade / colonization in the 17th til the start of the 20th century there are nowadays a lot of Mulats / quadrones in those cities, but the inlands are very black!

This site contains some photos from Negroids in East-Africa.

It also contains some pictures of Tuaregs who are usually classified as Europid.(Although heavy mixed/blended, 20% to 40% Negroid genes, I'm not completely sure?)

Some people from southern India and Sri Lanka are nearly as dark.

This file photo taken earlier this month shows Sri Lankan man Murugupillai Jeyarajah and his wife Junitha Jeyarajah holding "Baby 81". DNA tests have established they are the parents.

Look at the man on the right. He is darker than many Negrids.

People from southern Sudan can be very dark.

Very dark skin is also found in West Africa (e.g. Sierra Leone).

The blackest black person I have ever seen was a woman here in the US that was from France (I am not sure of her original, original origins). She considered herself to be French and her family had been there for I do nto know how many generations. Anyhow, she was about as black as the Dinka man posted by Glenlivet.

So far, I think that the blackest I've ever seen are the negroes we can see in Europe, these who sell useless and kitch stuffs. But their skin has a blue undertone in the sunlight, while Dravidians are really dark black-skinned. What a dilemma...

She considered herself French? :lol If she's French I'm Scandinavian. I beat her; I can't count how many generations we have been living there.
Her true and only origins? Africa maybe?... ;)

Yes, I know her true origins are someplace in Africa. I just do not know where in Africa. That is why I said I was not sure of her original origins. Africa is a big place with such a wide variety of people racially.

I'd no doubt; it was just for the fun. ;)

Yeah, so much diverstity, simply incredible. When you think you've seen everything possible and imaginable, there's plenty of worst... err better things left to see there. :thumbup

Btw, "Nigerians" (from latin Niger) are really dark-skinned generally. Though "Nigerian" don't tell much since there are myriads of micro-ethnias in African countries (created by awfull white colonialists).

This may be interesting from standpoint of judging skin color, but what race is genetically most "opposite" to white Europeans, say most opposite to a generalized northwestern cro-magnid? And does this also coincide with skin color?

Question:

Is there also difference in black skin?

Because some negroids look almost purple while others have a more darkbrown/reddish black color.

>> I think that tribesman photographed with Leni Riefenstahl, whom Bayerische Madchen posted, takes the prize for THE blackest black man I have ever seen. He actually was more like purple. Amazing. Quite a specimen indeed Herr Doktor..... ;-)

Nilotids are the darkest Negrid race and interestingly they are more progressive anatomically than lets say Palaenegrids which are lighter pigmented. Leni Riefenstahl worked mostly with Nilotids.
Typical are tribes in Southern Sudan and the neighboring areas, like Dinka, Nuer etc.

I don't know if he's the blackest, but there is surely something wrong in this picture ;)

It's "Koko B. Ware", aka "the bird man", professional wrestler in the 80s.

Gods above! He's greeny purple. Do they rub any kind of grease or anything on themselves at all? I don't see how you could be so shiny, otherwise.
The colours of these blueblack blacks remind me of those dark coloured birds, like magpies or cormorants or starlings, which are actually multicoloured at close up. Or those iridescent butterfly wings, which the experts tell us are just refracting the sun light, and don't actually have any pigment of their own. How can human skin do this?!?!?
I wonder what happens if you breed this with a Nordid? [What a horrible thought! But all in the interests of science...:-O ]

It is because of the black skin itself. Reflecting highlights are equally bright on all colors of skin, but are more visible on black skin because of the contrast

One can meet a lot of those purple guys wearing anorak (even in summer) here, selling their stuffs. Just make them believe you're interested in their wooden statues or anything they bring with them, and notice how easily they would sell at sale price a wonderfull elephant statue when you find it too expensive (10 EUR instead of 40). Quite funny.

oh my god! those pics are disturbing i think i've never seen people as black as them. REally, the darkest people i've seen in real life were Jamaicans i think and they were disturbing enough, it's funny how people tend to get along with their own kind, i think that is really obviously it's something that multiculturalist can't deny.

When i was 14 i saw a black man for first time and i really seen him like something from other planet i remember lol. I was in the park and younger childrens were looking at him with weird looks.

Chineses and Koreans here tend to get together, and the same with bolivians.

This thread I find fascinating. I have seen black people who were black, but these people are really black in the literal term. I wonder what would happen if the fairest Nordid bred with the darkest Congoid?

The blackest Black man I have ever seen was a security guard I knew that worked at one of the production studios in LA. He was so black he was actually purple.
He was from Uganda and had lost more than 50 members of his family when the psychopath Idi Amin Dada ruled the country.
It is interesting to note that whenever a cRap singer would come to appear on the show, there would be the customary entourage of "crazy niggas" and such and he and I would talk about them.
Each and every time he would see them he would tell me (and I quote his words exactly):
"They wouldn't last 15 minutes in my country because my people would simply kill them all."
Interesting...

I saw an extremely black guy today at the bus station. He wasn't like brown-black but rather a black-black like the one posted here earlier (the Nigerian picture).

There's a map showing the skin tone distribution in the world available:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/46/Unlabeled_Renatto_Luschan_Skin_color_map .png

It was mentioned in this thread that people of southern India and Sri-Lanka have a very dark tone which can be seen on the map.

I saw what I thought was a woman of East Indian ancestry (based on her hair and her features) who was just as dark as this black man. She was in the market in line already. She was very striking, and quite beautiful. But, I find the extremes on both ends of the color spectrum in humans to be the most striking in general.....and add to that the bright, light reddish blonds with bright blue eyes and pale skin....

In general, the black people you see in the US won't be as dark as this man.
