Mostly Fälisch, also a certain Alpine element, I would say first...

He was an extremely progressive type. Imo predominantely Nordid with probably slight, very slight Dinarid admixture. Profile picture would be interesting, especially because of his "open haircut".

Dinaric + Nordic sounds not wrong.

I've found this photo of a young Spengler. Isn't he too dark haired to be classified as nordic?

I think he is Nordid-Dinarid and the darker pigmentation is oftentimes dominant.

The family of Spengler’s father may have been Franconian which in the middle of the 16th century resettled from the Nürnberg area to the Harz. According to Anton Koktankek in “Oswald Spengler in seiner Zeit”, Spengler’s maternal great-grandfather, Gustav Adolf Grantzow, was a Berliner who married a Johanna Rebecca Anspach (or Anspachin) who was Jewish, but baptized, i.e. she became a Christian. Kotankek also asserts it is not certain Spengler was aware of this, but that after Spengler’s death his mother’s ancestry may have been a factor in the National Socialist posthumous proscription of his writings.
