Not all of them were pure nordid as we can see. Never mind, all whites were welcome. I have only selected german soldiers/officers, not other nationalities. Could you classify them?

Hmmm...here's my very UNexpert opinions:

1) Med

2) Alpinid

3) Not sure, possibly East Baltid in there

4) Halstatt Nordic

5) Probably Halstatt Nordic

6) Not sure what to make of him. Perhaps Med. Perhaps some Middle Eastern influence?

Just a quick estimation:
The first is Keltic or North Atlantid
The second is sub-Nordic
The third is Alpine
The fourth and fifth are Hallstatt maybe strengthened with some Falian
The last one looks to be Med with UP...? He has an odd look to him.

They are all well within the Nordish range.


They do.

And the last guy is a classic example of a Neo-Danubian (Danubian and Ladogan mix) as defined by Coon.

#5 reminds me of various English people that I know/have seen in pictures.

1. Keltic Nordic.

2. Alpine with Nordic or Faelian admixture.

3. Borreby.

4. possibly Hallstatt mixed with some slight Brunnid element.

5. Hallstatt mixed with Vaestmanlandic(slanting eyes, broad malars)

6. Neo-Danubian and Armenoid blend
