Based on Lynn's data (http://www.isteve.com/IQ_Table.htm) with current population estimates (http://www.internetworldstats.com/stats4.htm).

Germanic:

Austria ( 8,2 ) x 1,02 = 8,364
Germany ( 82,7 ) x 1,02 = 84,354
Netherlands ( 16,3 ) x 1,02 = 16,628
Sweden ( 9,0 ) x 1,01 = 9,09
Switzerland ( 7,4 ) x 1,01 = 7,474
Belgium ( 10,4 ) x 1,00 = 10,4
United Kingdom ( 59,9 ) x 1,00 = 59,9
Denmark ( 5,4 ) x 0,98 = 5,292
Norway ( 4,6 ) x 0,98 = 4,508

Total ( 203,9 ) ...... 206,01

206,01 x 100 / 203,9 = Average IQ 101,03

Romance:

Italy ( 58,6 ) x 1,02 = 59,772
Spain ( 43,4 ) x 0,99 = 42,966
France ( 60,3 ) x 0,98 = 59,094
Portugal ( 10,5 ) x 0,95 = 9,975
Romania ( 21,4 ) x 0,94 = 20,116

Total ( 194,2 ) ...... 191,923

191,923 x 100 / 194,2 = Average IQ 98,83

Slavic:

Poland ( 38,1 ) x 0,99 = 37,719
Czechia ( 10,2 ) x 0,97 = 9,894
Russia ( 144,0 ) x 0,96 = 138,24
Slovakia ( 5,4 ) x 0,96 = 5,184
Slovenia ( 2,0 ) x 0,95 = 1,9
Bulgaria ( 7,5 ) x 0,93 = 6,975
Croatia ( 4,5 ) x 0,90 = 4,05

Total ( 211,7 ) ...... 203,962

203,962 x 100 / 211,7 = Average IQ 96,34

The standard error in these tests is usually 4 or 5 points.

You can't take these numbers seriously. There are lots of non-germanic immigrants in the Germanic countries and they ruin the average number.

Surely. And naturally, standard errors can go both directions. ;)
