Families of victims of the World Trade Center attacks want Hamilton College in nearby Clinton to cancel Thursday's speaking appearance of Ward Churchill, a Colorado professor who has compared the victims to Nazis and said they were a willing part of "the mighty engine of profit."

"True enough, they were civilians of a sort. But innocent? Gimme a break." Churchill wrote. Churchill described the World Trade Center victims as "little Eichmanns," a reference to Adolf Eichmann, who organised Nazi leader Adolf Hitler's plan to exterminate Europe's Jews.

"This speech cancellation is nothing but an effort to stifle me and not let me speak on a matter of public and personal concern."
