If Im being spammed with viruses and what seem to be pornographic attachments, then how can I report it? I found out how to check the headers so I know where the spam is coming from, but I dont know how to report this problem.

Do I report to them, and not to the one who whoever sent the spam uses?

I think you should report to your provider. A relative of mine had a similar problem. It took him more than a few angry e-mails and phone calls, but his provider eventually fixed it.

Forward to: abuse@*.*, matching that of your ISP's (and nation). Though, providers can't fight SPAM, only offer you filters, unless if you want them going through your e-mail or risking losing things, because of aggressive filter settings.

The best way to prevent SPAM: Never put your e-mail address on public display, such as in forum and newsgroup (Usenet) posts or web-sites. If you do, add the typical "NO_SPAM" in it, so that people who wish to contact you can edit it out manually.
