Chonda's a Southern Belle from Tennessee with an extreme (Tennessee variety) Southern DRAWL! (and I say that as a Southerner! lol ;-) ), which is lovely to hear even without any humor involved. ;-D

Check 'em out, you'll be roaring with LAUGHTER!!! :rofl (http://forums.skadi.net/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=367#) LMAO :thumbsup (http://forums.skadi.net/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=367#)

Is there a comedy stand up station on XM Radio?

Is there a comedy stand up station on XM Radio?I'm not sure about XM radio...I almost went with them but didn't....I went with SIRIUS instead...SIRIUS has 2 comedy channels...one is essentially 'clean'/censored & the other is completely 'wide-open'/uncensored. For the most part...both of these channels broadcast stand-up comedy...24hrs./day...7days/week. :thumbup :) ...these 2 comedy channels are only 2 of 120+ other channels, BTW. ;) ...almost every music genre is covered by most of the other channels...there's MORE! music, really, than most listeners can handle/appreciate in any 24 hr., channel-wide, listening period...no joke. :| ...it's WELL!!! worth the money NOT!! to hear the commercials and/or static reception, IMHO! SIRISUS sat. radio gets nothing but :thumbsup from me! :)

The only comedians that I find hilarious are Nick DiPaolo and George Carlin.

I like DiPaolo Potato, but an Irish-American comedian to mention would be Denis Leary: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001459/

Both from New England :D

I do not like Carlin too much.

Ahh yes, Leary is awesome. Something about his chain smoking and bad attitude makes him the perfect comedian. Forgot all about that guy!.

I admit that Carlin is way out there, but I do get a kick out of listening to him.
To counter act my injection of Carlin I will listen to Dennis Miller (with a dictionary and encyclopedia). :D
