For all those with knowledge pertaining to genetics, I attempted to associate each Haplogroup common to Eurasia with an anthropological type. Here is the list I assembled.

HG 1-UP
HG 2-Nordic?
HG 3-Battle Axe
HG 8- Hamitic
HG 9-Orientalid
HG 10-Persian/Irano-Afgan
HG 12-Siberian/Central Asian
HG-13-Dravidic?
HG 16-Uralic
HG21-Berber
HG 22-Basque
HG 26-Kurdish
HG 28-Indic

My knowledge regarding genetics and anthropology is still limited, so your comments are greatly welcomed and appreciated.

The site is:http://www25.brinkster.com/humanraces/calc/haplo_data.asp?dbname=ychroms&orderby=hg16&orderby_mode=desc

Ive noticed that the Indian Uttar Pradesh Chamars are really close to the northern european groups genetically.

Can we get some research on them?

Perhaps there is an aryan link here?

Yes, it appears as though all groups on the Indian continent have genetic links to Europeans through Haplogroups 1,3, and particularly through Haplogroup 2.

HG 2 also is strong in the Balkans, Caucasus, as well as in the Ukraine and Sweden.

I'll post all the main European Haplogroups as the site can't be accessed during the day for the most part.

Hg1 looks to be not just Upper Paleolithic, but rather Old-European in general, hence its large presense in the gene pools of the Spanish and Portuguese.
