I've created a custom keyboard layout (KBD) map for transliterated Russian (Cyrillic) input, for English (intl.) "QWERTY" based keyboards. It should work on Windows 2000 and XP, maybe even on other versions aswell.

Drag the image, below, into the address bar to download it!*

(*It comes with handy, pre-packaged, installer.)

There already is a standard Cyrillic keyboard layout. It is as follows:

ЙЦУКЕНГШЩЗХЪ
ФЫВАПРОЛДЖЭ
ЯЧСМИТЬБЮ

Yes, but it's not transliterated.

The thing is, about mine, that it allows transliterated (so-called "homophonic") input. Which works for all English (intl.)/"QWERTY" keyboards.

Hell, I'm using it. Works great for me. Говорит по-русски, мой белый брат! Слава!

Do Russians use the color term "white" in the racial sense that Americans do?

Heh, good point. I wonder, but I've never been corrected (by any Russian) for saying/using it that way :)

If it's wrong/incorrect, anyone, please correct me.

By the way, Стрибог, ты говорите русски? :)
