I stumbled across this page earlier today and figured i'd share.

http://www.normandescendants.org/norman-surnames-norman-people/

As the title suggests, it's a list containing all known (with some speculation, im sure) Norman surnames. The page takes it's information from a book written in the 19th century called "The Norman people and their existing descendants in the British dominions and the United States of America". Here's a link (https://archive.org/details/normanpeopleand00unkngoog) to the online version of the book.

Thanks for this. I found my wife's maiden name, Baynard and I found my future grand-daughter in law's name, Norman.

It's my pleasure! I'm glad you were also able to find names related to you from it. Personally, I think too many people over look the usefulness of these sort of lists.

What a surprise, you found out that the surname Norman is connected with Norman heritage. Who would have thought so? :P

In that vein, I always found the name of that Maltese Nationalist guy, Norman Lowell to be quite amusing. The forename is 'Norman' and the surname is about as Norman as they get. :D
