In Finnish, Sweden is known as Ruotsi (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Ruotsi). The area of the Baltic sea is known as Roslagen (https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roslagen), and the Varangians carried that name to eastern Europe around Kyiv, giving the name Rus', Ruthenian, and latter Russia.
