Kennewick Man turns out as a Native American ancestor after all but closest to South Americans not North Americans. Interesting his face looked like Ainu and Polynesians.

I cannot go there since no PDF but this should not be a surprise since Kennewick ate marine mammals and so migrated down the coastal route rather than the ice-free central route. The costal people would be more like the Ainu or even coastal people in southern Asia.

It went from young, diverse New World origins to ancient, simplistic Clovis First and now its even more ancient but back to complex. Australoid or similar DNA has been identified recently in South America now but not further north, which implies a local substrate. Botocudos or Fuegians? Luzia?

At some places in South America Denisovan percentages increase beyond levels seen further north.
