Eyewitnesses say the smoke cloud rose from 400 m to 2500 m in just 5 minutes.
The volcano Grimsvötn have had regular outbreaks, each 5 years. But scientists are not how sure how large this outbreak will be.

Usually only Scandinavia has been affected of the other European countries.

Lets hope this wont be as bad as the last big one.

Maybe the rapture will come afterall.

I'm glad the activity at Eyjafjallajökull didn't awaken Katla last year. There was a lot of talk about it on the internet.

Yeah, I'm glad too. We were very worried in Norway.
