I have received this email from Skadi Forum:

Dear Sindig_og_stoisk,

Your account on Skadi Forum has been locked because someone has tried to log into the account with the wrong password more than 5 times. You will be able to attempt to log in again in another 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 174.132.178.37

Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Use the link below:

These login attempts are not mine. I can perform a login i one attempt, thank you very much.
What is going on? Why would anyone attempt to access my account?

Apparently the same source has made similar attempts at other forums.
Type in a '174.132.178.37' search and you will find numerous hits relating to this address.

Samples:

Someone changed the title of my thread "Shape of the Future" to "Charles Martel Society: The Shape of the Future", but no mod adnotations.

And I was just starting to feel so special and appreciated:D

It made literally no sense for me in particular to be singled out for hacker attacks on this forum.

It's based in Dallas, TX so assuming it's not a hacked / taken over system that's where the username molester is from.

Didn't thePlanet.com use to host the Skadi server?

According to google, the adress is from a TOR node. Be careful to not use the same password as in your email.

That was not a hack attempt, it was indeed a moderator (Ahnenerbe) who changed it. Sometimes staff members may change thread titles in order to add more information or clarity. Such changes can be seen by other staff members, via the moderation log.
