This explains my views on pop music exactly!

Mainstream Music

Sumner Redstone (Murray Rothstein), CEO of Viacom, is the billionaire Jew behind MTV.

He also owns VH1, BET, Nickelodeon, CBS, Comedy Central, Paramount Pictures, UPN, The New TNN, CMT: Country Music Television, Showtime, Blockbuster, and Simon & Schuster.

Viacom Facts
I laugh everytime I see someone listening to mainstream music. I think, "yeah, you are real cool. You listen to music that Jews pick out for you." Just swallow the poison pill and everything will be all right.

The unwritten rules for mainstream success, have now become written:

A racially diverse or black band has a better chance of getting heavily promoted than an all-white band.

Rap-metal bands are heavily promoted. True heavy metal is stifled.

A band can have a political message as long as it is left wing/liberal. A right wing message will never be heard.

A message of hate is ok, as long as it is directed towards the white race. Jews have invested billions of dollars pushing "gangster" rap in over 100 countries of the world.

Mainstream songs must embody secular humanism. Rarely, is anything spiritual or meaningful.

Lyrics must be simple, never extending the mind. Most mainstream songs are about fulfilling basic physiological needs.

If a girl pop star is making a music video, she must have half-naked black people in it.

White girl pop stars must sing like black women.

A white male has to either be a shock artist, wigger, sexual deviant, or fool. The ideal candidate has all of the above. Weaklings (boy bands) are also allowed. A strong and intelligent white male is not allowed to be famous.

The music is never the most important thing. One doesn't even have to play an instrument.

The more asinine the song, the greater chance it has of becoming famous.

Very rarely will a mainstream song have melody, most of the time it's all rhythm.

These rules have created a "massive constraint" on the mainstream music industry. Clearly, a music industry controlled by Jews is the worst form of Entertainment the world has ever seen. Do I not speak the truth? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Since the early 90s, white people have been taking in way too much non-white energy. In my opinion, anyone that was a teenager in this era was royally cheated. Most young people don't have a clue what good music sounds like. It is no wonder that today's youth are complelety void of any character whatsoever. Look at the pathetic batch of wimps and dingbats our world is producing. They are a lost cause.

I'm pretty proud to say that I have never liked mainstream music that I see people listening to.

Even though I was brought up on country music (which many i know would arguably say is worse), I'm still glad I'm not one of those poor unfortunate people who have to admit that they, "Jammed it out to Vanilla Ice when I was younger," or some other band/person i can't remember that's long gone.

I'm really glad that my sister introduced me to the wonderful world of Metallica when I was about in the fourth grade, which was during their time that they started to... fall from grace, so to speak. And though Metallica may have been at one point popular, at least they earned it through building up from a simple garage band, and at least their (older music) is actually good. (St. Anger is synonymous with shit, and it is a horrible abomination.)

To make a long story short, my tastes have evolved and the stuff I listen to currently are bands with the likes of Hammerfall or Nightwish, or at the other end of the spectrum, with the band Morgion being the first example i can think of.

I can't stand how almost every rap song has the same beat (*bass, bass, snare, bass, snare*), and when it doesn't have that beat it's usually stolen from another band. It was bad enough before that lyrics degenerated into bitches and hoes, and "livin' da hard life" (nevermind the fact they're rich... By the Gods I feel so dirty underneath my skin for saying that while explaining) but now it seems to somehow gotten even worse and doesn't go too much farther than "Yeah" and "uh."

I can't stand Nirvana-esque grunge singing voices anymore. It has to clear-cut high vocals, or deep, gutteral death-bellows.

I don't care for "nu-metal" bands, focusing mainly on some sort of bass-heavy rhythm and hateful lyrics. Just a more angry version of these neo-punk-wannabes who are mad their girlfriend dumped them, or so that's the best way i've heard it put.

But... at the end of the day, I'm just glad that at least some good bands were able to be formed and produce decent music.

Mainstream music is so fake. I think it's an insult to real music to call mainstream music "Music". It's so generic and fake, then they wonder why people download their music, who wants to buy a cd from a crappy band if they only have 1 or 2 good songs? to hell with that.
I was raised up listening to Classical and classic rock. :D

For me...
Mainstream Music = Don't know...don't care. :|

Actually I could kick & scream about this subject....being a musician makes it worse to see utter krap being promoted/fed to masses while making millions of dollars.
I don't care about the money factor, but really it is an insult to the intelligience & basically a slap in the face of my 17+years of actually learning music & playing my instrument/s (properly!). Even my new material (without the corpse-paint, playing alot of non-metal, & female voice)..won't get me anywhere beyond that of a status of 'underground' star(? :D )...

Who cares..I would rather have my musical dignity frankly.

Corpse-paint is sexy.

Sorry, couldn't resist. But seriously, I can somewhat relate to what you're saying, currently i'm trying to get up to my friend's skill with the guitar, and i used to be in the school orchestra.

I don't like music just because it's mainstream, nor do I like it just because it's not. If it's good, it's good. :)

I've always disliked MTV and mainstream music. Only country will I listen to(the only mainstream music with some decency left, however little). I prefer classical and folk music mainly, with some classic rock.

Do you sing at all?

If so, is it anything like Angela Gossow or Runhild Gammelsaeter? Or something more along the lines of what Anita Auglend or Tarja Turunen might do? (my avatar, just for added info. :P)
