View Full Version : Continuing the Evolutionary Walk

Hello there,

not been on in a while but I was thinking about this a few days ago and wondered if anyone could help me on this subject.

I think we've all seen the 'Evolutionary Walk' in some shape or form:

But I wondering if the 'Homo Sapien' bit could be broken down even more.

My knowledge of this subject is somewhat limited but I'm guessing that people like the Aborigines were perhaps one if not the first examples of Homo Sapiens, followed by Negroids then I'm not sure.

Can the 'races' be divided into Chronological order or is it similar to a tree with different branches going off at tangents?

I mean how does Nature get from this:

To this?

Thanks. :)

what are your theories on the possible future evolution of Humanity?

The video from Fat Boy Slim does spring to mind where we could end up as gross obese slobs, this idea was used again in the movie Wall-E.

I'd like to think maybe the more advanced sections of Humanity do Evolve but this maybe due to my interest in science fiction.

Yes, the Sixth Finger was one of my favourite episodes of the Outer Limits ;)

Homo-sapiens are too comfortable right now for further evolution. It's possible, though, that if faced with something physically difficult or reverting back into the Stone Age, humans would have to evolve.

I think advanced equates with "tall and thin", ie tall and ectomorphic. The more mesomorphic and endomorphic the more spiritually bound and ignorant the person.

So in my system lighter ectomorphics represent more advanced, mature humans.
