I saw this book in the bookstore and was intrigued - there don't seem to be many Celtic cookbooks out there. Does anyone happen to own this book? Care to post a review?

Great! I'd buy a copy, but I'm broke. (if you don't like yours, you can send it to me ... ;) )

Did anyone buy the book? If so, was it any good?

Yes, it was. It is a sort of Haute-Celtique cuisine, from hotel restaurants and pubs across the Celtic lands.

I also bought and compared several others, and the gems I found were:

"Celtic Cookbook: Traditional Recipes from the Six Celtic Lands." Helen Smith-Twiddy

"The Scottish - Irish Pub and Hearth Cookbook" by Kay Shaw Nelson (my top pick!)

"Traditional Food from Wales" by Bobby Freeman.

There is nothing better than pub grub, when my husband first visited Ireland he was a pub grub junkie ~

Thanks for the links ~

Hails~
