Click on the name of the Runes to hear its likely pronunciation in proto-Germanic. Of course, no one knows exactly how these Runes were pronounced, but linguists have made educated guesses based on living languages and what they know of the vowel and consonant shifts in related tonguesin historic times. I think this website with the pronunciations may no longer exist - I tried to listen and got nowhere. That's a shame - I would have been very interested in this!

I like Paxons pronunciations. You can find them by a search. I think learning to chant the runes is very powerful. I start by even breathing like count 4 inhale hold 2, count 4 exhale hold 2. Then for chanting I inhale 4 hold 2 and vibrate the 1 st syllable on exhale like 5 end syllable 2 and hold exhale 2. Repeat 3 times if doing a few runes. I mean each rune 3 x then the next 3 times.
