Antwerp, the second-largest city in Belgium is one of the most dynamic cities in the world.Antwerp Cathedral But the city is probably best known for its harbor, one of the largest in the world, and for its Diamonds. More than 50% of the world diamond production passes through Antwerp.

The largest city in Flanders, the northern region of Belgium, Antwerp is also known for its fashion and for several famous painters like Rubens and Van Dijck.
Besides historical buildings from the 13th to 19th century, the city also boast a large number of museums, a great zoo, large pedestrian-only shopping streets and, best of all, great beers.

It is also a great city to hang out with a thriving nightlife, more than 800 restaurants and 1600 pubs, many open for 24 hours.

Holland and Belgium are beautiful countries, I'm thinking of travelling early next year through Denmark, Germany, England, Holland, Belgium etc with my fair lady, cycling through the lowlands if we can where it is nice, easy, flat, and smooth going :D 'cause I'm lazy.

Here's a webcam that is just up the beach from me.
