View Full Version : Rejection of Punishment

Tuesday, December 9th, 2003, 12:36 PM
> It strikes me that one of Myatt's most controversial ideas, his rejection of punitive measures against wrong-doers, is prefigured in Nietzsche.

Correct. "One does not "punish" a rebel; one
suppresses him." [Will to Power, 740]
"One should reduce the concept "punishment to the concept: suppression of a revolt, security measures against the suppressed (total or partial imprisonment). But one should not express contempt
through punishment: a criminal is in any case a man who risks his life, his honour, his freedom - a man of courage. Neither should one take punishment to be a penance; or as a payment, as if an exchange
relationship existed between guilt and punishment - punishment does not purify, for crime does not sully. One should not deprive the criminal of the possibility of making his peace with society; provided he does not
belong to the race of criminals. ...One should beware of assessing the value of a man according to a single deed. Napoleon warned against this." [Will to Power, 740]

> While some may think it 'liberal' of Myatt to throw
out 'punishment' in favour of 'compensation', they
could not be more wrong.

I agree.

> It was Nietzsche who questioned the rationality of
punishment, opining that it derived not from the
desire to 'right wrongs', but from the festivals of

That's right. Nietzsche says Punishment had a different meaning for the ancients, but to still practice it in our modern times is indeed meaningless.

"In ancient penal law, a religious concept was at work: that of the expiatory power of punishment.
Punishment purifies: in the modern world it sullies.
Punishment is a payment: one is really rid of that for which one was willing to suffer so much. Provided there is a belief in this power of punishment, there follows a profound sense of relief which is really
very close to a new health, a restoration. One has not only made one's peace with society again, one has also regained one's self-respect and feels - "pure."
Today punishment isolated even more than the crime;... One emerges from punishment as an enemy of society. From then on, it has one more enemy.
Jus talionis can be dictated by the spirit of retribution (i.e., by a kind of moderation of the instinct for revenge); but with Manu, e.g., it is the
need to possess an equivalent in order to expiate, in order to be "free" again in a religious sense." [Will to Power, 742]

The last line especially is very fitting with what you have just remaked above on Myatt. [Note Nietzsche uses the word Punishment in the sense of both punishment and compensation, like the word "good" is used both for Master and Slave; it needs to be inferred from

> Only then can we go back to the ancient system of compensation, and then also allow back the Noble duel and trial-by-combat systems.
The whole culture of the 'champion' can also reappear.

Nice thought. Bentham and his panopticon did much to ruin all this of course. He made the eye turn inward.

Our Fashionable Compassion

By Mark Phineas
contact the author: mphineas@lucidsnap.com (mphineas@lucidsnap.com)

In Seattle recently, the student body of Washington Middle School gathered in a circle to hold hands, hug and tearfully share their hurt and renounce the hurt they may have inflicted on others. In Chicago, the good Rev. Joseph Barndt has formed a touring sideshow of sympathy dedicated to "dismantle systematic racism and build anti-racist multi-cultural diversity". In a newsroom in Minnesota, an article on health care for the elderly was rejected because the reporter failed to include interviews and opinions from black and chinese members of the community. With all the public displays of compassion, all these carefully scripted dialogs of inclusiveness, all the loud laments against hatred in our culture, you might easily confuse us with a community genuinely committed to equality, fairness and brotherly love.

The disgraceful truth is, we are a culture of fashionably contrite cowards, a culture dominated and deceived by a noble lie. Our sense of right and wrong is easily defined for us by a carefully staged morality play in which the ultimate sin is the use of banned words and the ultimate expression of evil is the expression of distrust or dislike for any of the fashionably oppressed minority groups living comfortably on their pedestals. We are zealous adherents to a doctrine of scripted compassion and hollow word-play. We have not grown more compassionate, we have simply become acclimated to culture of lies and self-delusion.

You may find my sentiment offensive. Certainly, it IS offensive, but it is also true. You don't need to look far to find a host of damning examples of the shameless hypocrisy that is the bedrock of our great compassion.

I'll start with hate crimes. The justification for this tyrannous legislation, stated simply, is
"a fair minded and civilized culture should level the harshest of punishments on any individual who harms another out of hatred for their race, gender or sexual propensities".This justification is a difficult sentiment to argue with. After all, isn't this sentiment the basic premise of multi-culturalism? Aren't these laws a necessary tool for insuring a "color blind" society? And, aren't these laws yet another indication of our commitment to fairness and diversity?

No. They are a soothing and shameful lie, and heres why....

A culture that sincerely demands the harshest punishment for crimes of hatred would have taken to the streets in righteous anger after four young people in Wichita, Kansas were brutally slain on Dec 14th, 2000. These four friends were celebrating the holidays together as their door was kicked in. Two black men burst into their lives, bringing with them a gun and a lethal supply of black rage. After the torture and the beatings, these innocent four were forced at gun-point to march into a snow covered field and remove their clothes. They were each given a flurry of racial insults and a single shot to the head. Their lives were stolen by a brutal hatred but this caring culture looked on in silence and the word "hate" was scarcely whispered. This undeniable crime of hatred was dismissed with an embarrassed shrug of indifference by a culture committed to compassion, justice and equality.

But what a miraculous transformation we witness from our indifferent culture, as the body of a lone homosexual was found propped on a fencepost in remote Wyoming. Fortunately, hatred had the right color for this crime and the event was mourned from stage, screen and television. The perpetrators were loudly hauled out and hated on every talk show, news show and personal show of self-righteous indignation.

But a culture committed to equality would have shed an equal weight of sorrow for each of these crimes. Instead, this great society chose to wait until we knew the color of the criminal before we deemed the victims worthy of our compassion. And that isn't compassion at all. It is contemptible hypocrisy.

Now let's consider the scourge of "Hate Music". Let's start with the term itself. This frightening euphemism has been carefully crafted to demonize music that sits defiantly outside the carefully filtered and aggressively censored content of the "main-stream". This music has a miniscule audience, yet it is worthy of attention from the lofty heights. Such luminous guardians of goodness as the Southern Poverty Law Center have weighed in against this scourge with this warning...
A frenzied and furious rock sound is fueling a new generation of hatred and has crushed the popular theory that "music soothes the savage beast." Now, that should clear things up a bit. In a compassionate society, ownership of music which expresses hateful sentiments with hateful language will instantly mark you as a "savage beast". The basic sentiment is that "Hateful music should have no place in a compassionate culture", right? Apparently not. Hate music is not only acceptable, it's celebrated, though only when sung by a darker hue. Hip-hop has become the "hate music" sound track for our culture of inclusiveness.

These lyrics are a mere sampling of the genre...
"a devil is on my shoulder; should I kill it; hell yah. I slice Jack. took an axe, and gave that bitch, Jill, forty wacks. with my hip hop . it don't stop, until heads roll off the cutting block" Let me be clear, the "devil" being decapitated in this popular tune is a white man, and "that bitch Jill" (the assault victim) she is also a person of non-color. Now, in the language of the hate seeking missives, that word "devil" is a racial slur. You wouldn't know it though, considering the hushed reverence awarded these lyrics by our guardians of goodness.

Instead of condemning this hatred, our compassionate culture has chosen to cherish it. Hate music is proudly displayed on the front shelves of every music store. Hate music is played at high school dances. Hate music is given generous air time on MTV and every major radio station. Hate music is acceptable in a compassionate society only if it has a decent beat and you can dance to it. It's clear that hate coming from a black mind is an acceptable anthem to be imitated by our youth and praised by the enlightened in this compassionate culture. But that's what makes us such accepting people, isn't it?

No. That's what makes us hypocrites.

The acceptance of racial animosity from every race but our own is the most damning lie of our selectively companionate culture. Why are we willing to ignore and excuse the dangerous hatred directed at us while we zealously attack any semblance of hatred originating from us? Are we truly willing to trade our safety for the smug triumph over a few "non-believers" who still harbor hatred for the "out-group"?

Yes. We are blinded by the false promise of salvation through sympathy.

We are joyfully singing the shallow hymns of inclusiveness as we march into the burning church of self-loathing. We hope to earn our salvation through a convincing show of compassion and we seem to honestly believe that this somehow makes us a truly compassionate culture. But voluntary self-hatred will not soften the brick thrown at our heads or deflect the bullet shot into our hearts. The hatred lurching towards us will not be satisfied with a mere show of convenient compassion. It will only be satisfied with our blood.

It is terminal hypocrisy to ignore atrocity because it comes in the wrong color. It is a deadly farce to weep and to wail over a drop of blood spilled from our protected minorities while wading indifferently through the river of blood spilled from victims whose only fault was to be born into a self-scorned majority.

That's what makes us a culture doomed by our own compassion.

This sort of skewed 'compassion' is obviously just a way to deprive us of the intellectual and moral tools we need to defend ourselves, as the article suggests. We can thank the 'liberal' media and Marxist-dominated universities for propagating this sort of nonsense, and brainwashing our youth to be passive bystanders to, or active participants in, the destruction of their culture and civilization.

Means people liked the above posts and gave you positive reputation points which is displayed in your user profile with the posts you make. It's not a big deal (not for me anyway) but it's a nice way of making notes to people when you like something they write, or when you agree with them or when you think it's really funny. :)

You can also give negative reputation points, as well as positive ones but I never used that option, really. After the rearrangement of things on the board everyone's reputation power is 1 points. It had got a little out of hand before. Hope this was helpful. :)

A Renewed Mexican-American War
By Alan Caruba
Jan 13, 2005

In 1821, at the invitation of Mexico, Stephen Austin established the first American settlement in Texas (Tejas). The land was cheap, about ten cents an acre, compared to $1.25 in other frontier areas. Americans flowed in but they continued to speak English and avoided any assimilation into the Mexican culture.

A mere fifteen years later in April 1836, following the fall of the Alamo a month earlier, a Texas army at the Battle of San Jacinto defeated the Mexican army, thus ending a brief war. On October 22, Gen. Sam Houston was sworn in as the first president of the Republic of Texas. A decade later, after having lost Texas, the US negotiated a treaty that secured most of the Southwest as well. That´s how we ended up with Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico.

Flash forward to 2004. Today in America, 58% of America´s Hispanic population are Mexican, surpassing African-Americans as the largest minority. Latinos make up 30% of California´s population and now account for more than half of all the births in the Golden State. Do the math. There are 37 million Hispanic Americans. As far as the Mexican government is concerned, their Mexican-Americans are Mexican-Mexicans. Like the Americans that poured into Texas and refused to assimilate, the same holds true for a large portion of the Mexican-American population, both legal and illegal.

This has major implications for American politics. It accounts in large part for why Bush43 and his administration are eager to grant an amnesty for the current and growing population of illegal aliens. His own brother, Jeb, is Governor of Florida, speaks Spanish fluently, and is married to an Hispanic.

News that the Bush administration will propose "sweeping changes to US immigration policy that would allow a portion of the eight million illegal aliens in this country to move toward legal status without a penalty" ignores the fact that Mexico has set upon a plan to repopulate the lands it lost to the US and to, in effect, alter the political structure of America by flooding its citizens into the US while retaining their allegiance to Mexico.

To put it bluntly, Mexico has hit upon a plan to solve its own Third World poverty by reacquiring the land Santa Ana gave away. The lines between being a Mexican citizen and an American one are being deliberately blurred. Don´t believe it? Manuel de la Cruz is the first US citizen ever to win a seat in Mexico´s Congress. His platform was to make the United States into a Mexican electoral district! Born in Zacatecas, Mexico, de la Cruz has been a longtime resident of Norwalk, Connecticut. He was one of six Mexican-Americans who ran for office in Mexico in the last elections there!

Little wonder the slogan of the Mexican Department of Tourism is "Mexico: Closer Than Ever." If it was any closer, the minute you crossed the Mississippi, you´d be in Mexico!

An expert on this, Allan Wall, noted in November 2003 that "Mexicans who have become American citizens—by taking an oath to renounce all allegiance to Mexico---may soon be able to regain their Mexican ‘nationality´, according to recent Mexican federal legislation, now in the process of being ratified by the states of Mexico." In 1997, Articles 30,32,and 37 of the Mexican Constitution were amended to make dual nationality possible. This will give any Mexican who wants it, to be a citizen of both nations.

This is nothing less than a sneak attack on the sovereignty of the United States of America.

Mexico has lots of reasons for this, not the least of which is the fact that the estimated $14.5 to $17 billion Mexicans send home represents the second-largest source of foreign income for Mexico after oil. Pundits like Lowell Ponte who watch what the Mexicans are doing note that the enormous cash Mexican immigrants to America, legal and illegal, send home relieves much of the pressure on the Mexican government to fix that nation´s economy. By encouraging immigration, noted Ponte, "if this pressure release valve were closed, Mexico would explode into violent revolution within five years."

Meanwhile, American taxpayers are forced to pick up the tab for the millions of illegal Mexican and other immigrants in this nation. Ponte notes that "by one estimate, the average illegal immigrant family in California consumes about $7,000 more each year in government benefits than it pays in taxes." When then-Governor of California, Pete Wilson, backed Proposition 187, that would have cut off taxpayer-funded programs and other benefits to illegal immigrants, the measure passed overwhelmingly. It was, however, struck down by a federal judge. When former-Governor Gray Davis attempted to give California to its illegal immigrant population, the voters tossed him out and voted in Gov. Arnold Schwartzenegger.

It remains for Americans to avoid any cockamamie legislation that would, one way or the other, grant citizenship to illegal Mexican and other immigrants. US population, as of January 1, 2004, was 292,287,454. That´s an increase of 2,816,586 from the year before and it does not take into account the eight to twelve million illegals living among us and using our schools, our hospitals, our highways, and filling up our jails. Given the birthrate of Mexicans in America, it would not take long for them to acquire so much political power that it would alter our system dramatically. For too many of them, their first allegiance would be to Mexico.

This issue is NOT about being anti-Mexican. It´s about protecting the longest border on the planet between a wealthy First World nation and a very poor Third World one. That border, 1,951 miles long, is as porous as Swiss cheese. And, beyond the Mexicans crossing it illegal, there´s the threat of infiltration by Islamic Jihadists. On November 12, 2003, Imelda Ortiz Abdala, the former Mexican consul in Lebanon, was arrested in Mexico on charges of helping a smuggling ring that specialized in moving Arab immigrants into the United States from Mexico. The terror war isn´t just being fought in the Middle East, it is on our border and inside our nation.

The current US policy of tolerating large-scale illegal immigration is not just wrong, it is putting this nation at risk from our sworn enemies and from a nation, Mexico, bent on reclaiming its "lost" territories and, through sheer force of numbers, taking over this nation.

President Bush is famous for having said, "You´re either with us or you´re against us." Well, Mr. President, if you are looking for an enemy of this nation, look south to Mexico.

Excellent game!
I just love the feeling of total galactic domination over those pathetic rebel low-lives. :)

The game was created by the people who made the Red Alert-series and Command & Conquer.
You can crush your enemy both in wonderful space battles as well as battle on the planet surface.

I just finished the imperial campaign and i will not even bother to play the rebel campaign. :D

Nice graphics, gameplay-feeling and it runs well even on a mid-class computer (P4 2,6ghz with 1gb ram and radeon 9800pro graphics card.)

A retarded chimpanzee can beat Imperial on hard, no offense :P Seriously though, if you want a challenge, capture every planet as rebels.

I gotta say this game dashed my expectations. I give it a 1.5 out of 10. I was expecting something like Eve or Homeworld. And try getting online. The programming they used for managing lobby connection is 10 years old!
Expect to get booted back to the login as you start a game up. we actually get a successful online game going where we arent booted 20% of the time, thats it

Fifties fashion

Which is why "older women" are now fronting major campaigns for the likes of Miuccia Prada's Miu Miu (Kim Basinger) and Cover Girl (Christie Brinkley). And who could have missed the impact Twiggy, a ripe 56, has had on the sales and image of the once-faltering Marks & Spencer?

It would be interesting to hear from you why you are religious or why you are not. Did your family shape your beliefs? Your education?

Or did you make a conscious decision when you became an adult?

Tuesday, August 22nd, 2006, 12:52 AM
My family definitely influenced me in my religious beliefs and my sense of religiosity, but I'm quite a bit more religious than my family is. I have always felt very spiritual since I was a little boy — always keenly aware of power and significance beyond myself and my immediate surroundings. My religiosity has only grown as I've learned more about what's out there beyond what my own wits can discern.

It would be interesting to hear from you why you are religious or why you are not. Did your family shape your beliefs? Your education?

I am a semi religious person. I honor and thank the God's everyday. I celebrate the holidays and that stuff. My parents are close minded Christians. Ironically seeing how my mom is an alcholic and my father is a gambling addict I don't think that is Christian behavoir. So the answer is no my parents had no way in shaping my religious beliefs. However my grandmother did play a big part. My grandma introduced me to Odinism and Asatru and Nationalism and all these political and religious ideas.

My school is a disease ridden school filled with stupidity, ignorance, and immorality.

Wednesday, August 23rd, 2006, 12:13 AM
I cannot escape the feeling that the world extends beyond what the five senses inform us about, nor the sense that there is a fundamental unity to everything. I suppose those are the roots of my spirituality.

My parents did not influence my religious beliefs (if any) at all. I never knew my father but was brought up by my mother and grandmother. My mother was a "freethinker" she made no effort to inculcate any religious beliefs in me. My grandmother was nominally a Lutheran, but I never saw her go to church and , until she started "cramming for the finals" at about age 80, I never saw her read the Bible.

I was a very thoughtful child with an analytical mind. I saw little merit to any of the religions of my "peers", all of which seemed to embody a great deal of nonsense. I was never able to understand anything that I hadn't reasoned out for myself.

At 18, I decided that I did not trust any religious or philosophical authority, and I rejected all of them. I was determine to reason EVERYTHING out for myself, never to accept ANYTHING on authority. I studied numerous religions to see if any of them held any insights which would be useful to me.

That project is now in its 58th year. The position which my skepticism and my insistence on logical consistency in whatever I accepted placed me in was and is agnostic.

More or less as a working hypothesis, I accept, as a basis for speculation, the advaita Vedanta, an esotric highly intellectual form of Hinduism. I worship no gods. I accept the henotheistic position that all of the gods are but aspects of a single inconceivable and incomprehensible reality which the Vedantists call Brahman and I call the supreme entity.

This entity is perfect. Therefore, it needs nothing and wants nothing. Especially, it does not need praise from (usually insincere) human beings. Hence, I do not pray. if the supreme entity cares, which I doubt, it knows what I need. I need not remind it or badger it with begging flattery.

BTW, Vedantists do not worship Brahman. The humanly accessible aspects of Brahman are the , at least 30,000, gods or the more abstract Ishvara. I have often called myself a deist because I accept the idea of the existence of a supreme entity but doubt that it is at all concerned with individual human beings.

So, why am I religious ? In the common sense of the word, I'm not. However, I have an inquiring mind and I have found it necessary to consider religion in my efforts to understand everything.

Wednesday, August 23rd, 2006, 06:01 PM
Yes, I feel I am religious, and I feel my family did play a big part in that, though they are Christian. I feel that the Gods and Goddesses should be recognized and thanked for all I and my family have. So, we do so in daily prayers as a family and I pray every night before I go to bed. We have celebrated all Heathen holidays this past year, and are looking @ kindreds...not as strongly though as we would like :(

However, we do take time daily to read, and my hubby and I have talked about other books we have read and go to sites such as this one to talk w/other Heathens to learn more. Educating ourselves is important, since this is fairly new to us :)

by Norman Lowell
Mr. Lowell here presents his unique and individual interpretation of Cosmotheist thought, based on the pioneering teachings of William Pierce. -- Ed.

This essay is dedicated to the memory of Dr. William Pierce, founder and first chairman of the National Alliance, and was inspired by his memorable lecture, Our Cause.

WHEN PRIMORDIAL MAN started to evolve up the evolutionary scale he began comprehending the world around him. He became conscious of his feebleness, of his vulnerability. Nature in all its manifestations was dangerous to Homo Erectus and later Homo Sapiens. Life was truly ugly, brutal and short – and man needed a palliative to it. He invented God.

Like art, traces of which have been found in the Dordogne dating back to BC 15,000, religion made life bearable, tolerable. While art acts as a seductress, transporting us to a different level of perception, a flight from reality – religion gives man the excuse to renounce the self-overcoming, the daily struggle in search of “worldly achievements” that reality demands, and to bear his tribulations – for a promise of pie in the sky. Religion can take two forms; passive or assertive. Buddhism is the best example of the former while Christianity, in the middle ages and right up to the eighteenth century was certainly assertive, non-compromising and underpinned the White man’s conquests across the globe. It gradually lost this drive and today is indistinguishable from atheistic communism. Not surprisingly, communist leaders in the West quote the Bible and the Pope in their efforts to woo majority-mediocrity.

Today, Islam is the prime example of an assertive religion. It is contemptuous of Christianity, which it regards as a religion fit for women only. Mohammedanism is underpinning the political aspirations of the Arab World. What the Palestinians could not achieve in the name of Nasser, they will certainly gain in the name of Allah.

Ayatollah Khomeini toppled the Shah from his peacock-throne through Islam, while Saddam Hussein defied the whole world and prayed on television at the height of the Gulf War.

Christianity evolved in the ghettos of Rome and proliferated largely amongst the lowest strata of society throughout the Roman Empire. To the Roman nobility it was a detestable religion, with its appeal for humility, forgiveness, tolerance, and resignation to any situation. But beneath this message lay another; the snarling hatred for the strong, the noble, the competent, and the truly good. And it was this message that attracted the many-too-many to its fold. Within a few centuries, like a virus infecting the whole body of Europe, it managed to supplant the old gods who had become worn out. By the second century even the emperor had converted.

The cross triumphed and stood on the Roman hills, where formerly the imperial eagle surveyed the Empire. Even Buddhism, the other slave religion preaching universal salvation, does not stoop so low as Christianity. At least, when faced by oppression, the Buddhist retreats ‘a few miles down the river to fish. In time, he sees the corpse of his aggressor floating down before him.’ Thus the Buddhist sins by omission. On the other hand, the Christian sins by commission. He actually turns the other cheek to his tormentor. Thus Christianity is anti-life. It is the greatest aberration of the instincts. If really taken seriously and adhered to, if followed to its logical conclusion, Christianity would kill its true believers. How can one turn the other cheek to trousered apes rioting in San Francisco or Watts? Where would present day Christians be, had our forefathers not fought bloody battles that stopped the Arabs in Spain and at the gates of Vienna? They would be wearing sandals and turbans. Two thousand Christmases later, this disease has debilitated us to the extent where the White man has come to carry a guilt complex for his very existence. Examples are too many to enumerate; White girls, healthy, of child-bearing age, forsake motherhood and follow an emaciated Albanian “sister of the poor” to the pest holes of Asia, tending to the festering wounds of starving Hindus. Christianity is a Chandala religion. Young men and women, bereft of a vision, of a philosophy of life, embrace Christianity and as missionaries go to Africa, saving Black babies from being devoured by fellow Blacks. They scream at us and demand that we admit these unassimilable aliens within our midst. And just in case we ever run out of enemies, the Pope encourages these Third Worlders to keep up their feckless fecundity, admonishing them against birth control. In the late 90s we relished the edifying performance of the African Bishops’ synod at the Vatican in Rome. There, in the kernel, the centre of Christianity, and the very seat of Peter; we witnessed the simian spectacle of Blacks dancing to the tune of the 'limbo'! How low can you go?

All this would not be a real problem if our young people had a vision of an IMPERIUM EUROPA, underpinned by an authentic belief fit for the White race; a vision that would not leave the spiritual vacuum which Christianity now fills. The unfortunate thing is that the most honest, the most idealistic of our youth are the ones who are taking Christianity seriously. They are the ones poring, thumping, and flipping continuously through that most evil book ever recorded in the annals of literature. A book brimming with hatred, written by a bloodthirsty tribe of psychopaths imbued with a burning sense of mission for world power -- a tribe describing themselves as the “Chosen Ones.” A book describing in gory detail every kind of murder: deicide, regicide, patricide, matricide, fratricide, infanticide -- the sacrifice of the first born to an implacable God. The mass-slaughter of entire nations together with their domestic animals. The murder of every first-born in every household in the quiet of the night. The slaughter of all babies under two years -– cannibalism -– real horrifying holocausts. A book written by a psychotic people at the best of times – raving lunatics proclaiming themselves messengers of God and bearing the usual litany of self-abnegation, self-torture, self-denial, self-immolation -- in order to quieten the most natural feelings and impulses. A book listing every kind of sexual perversion. And the piece de résistance -- the wild cabalistic imbecility of the 'Revelations.'

One must admit that the least harmful among members of all Christian denominations are the Catholics – at least they don’t take it seriously! All the rest: the Evangelicals, the Born Agains, the Baptists – they actually believe the nonsense!

Luckily for the White Race, Catholics only go through the motions of Christianity. They attend mass every Sunday, wearing decent clothes -- and that’s about all. The Catholics are not so stupid as to turn the other cheek to an aggressor –- they’d blow him up! They are not ingenious enough so as to bleed themselves white by “giving their all and following Christ.” The White race has survived, in part, because of Catholicism; and overall we survived in spite of Christianity -– certainly not because of it.

The Will of the Universe
As I have elucidated in my Coming Cataclysmic Crises, we are living in dangerous times. The whole planetary political scene is in flux. Anything could happen, anytime. And the White world is unprepared –- actually we are weak, very weak. We are weak in spirit, in political will -– we are divided amongst ourselves. We lack real leadership. We are like a ship without a compass, having lost our sense of direction. We have no bearing, no distant fixed star to guide us.

In short, we are like a nation, like a race without a soul. And this is why we are in such a predicament today. Yes, we have enormously difficult problems and it is imperative, that we prepare ourselves mentally and spiritually for the final battle ahead. We need a philosophical and spiritual underpinning –- an all-encompassing world-view.

We must re-discover ourselves, our inner nature. We need to listen, heed that divine spark within us and base all our decisions on a clear, comprehensive philosophy illuminated by that spark. We need to understand that deep inner source from which our feelings and intuition about Race and High Politics, and all concomitant issues, arise.

We have to find that link between Individual and Race. That the former does not exist as an end in himself, but for something greater: a continuity, an eternity. On the other hand, Race can only flower through the perpetual self-overcoming and self-improvement of the Individual. Individual and Race – Race and Individual: a symbiotic relationship.

We must be attuned to the Race-Mind, the Race-Soul -- that source of divine wisdom, as old as the universe itself. For now, for the first time in the history of our race, we are on the threshold of understanding clearly and precisely the mystery of Life itself.

The universe is continually changing, evolving. With its more than 120,000 galaxies, creation is moving towards ever more complex, ever higher forms of existence. And not only that: The universe is evolving as a conscious whole.

Yes, we as a race are a manifestation of the Creator. Our planet earth, our living Gaia is itself a manifestation of the universe. For the universe has a consciousness, a will of its own. We are part of, a manifestation of, the Creative Will, the Cosmic Force of the universe.

We must become the conscious manifestation of the Universal Will!

This realisation shoulders us with a tremendous responsibility. A mantle of authority, the moral authority to do whatever is necessary. Brooking no opposition or restraint, we must be diamond pure and diamond hard in carrying out that responsibility. That of serving as a willing, conscious tool: the manifestation for the Realisation of the Creator’s purpose: The Will of the Universe.

Ever improving ourselves, ever moving forward, ever ascending, unveering on the steep path towards self-perfection towards the SuperMan and beyond:

Breeding amongst ourselves – Holding ourselves apart from the sub-men all around us – Harnessing lightning and cosmic energy, ever more sophisticated observatories as were Stonehenge and Mnajdra – Holding to an Aristocratic view of Life – Discerning, discriminating, separating the beautiful and noble from the ugly and perverse – An agonising path upwards rather than the easy, downward slide.

A quest for the Grail. A galactic quest for the understanding of the Creator’s purpose: the path to Divine Consciousness. For the Universe has a Divine Consciousness -- and we must become an integral part of it. We must strive towards Divinity – We must become Divine!

Our New Belief
It is obvious that the present ideological-religious debilitation of the White race cannot go on. We have reached a nadir. A few more years and it will be too late to save our civilisation from the deadly effects of the maladies that afflict us. We must either take the road to atheism or -– we must devise a new belief. The atheist is a man who recognises that he is alone, with no one, nothing above or surrounding him. The deist is a man who submerges himself into nothingness, in order to justify a deity above, all around him. Ultimately -– and this is the real reason; a deist wants something, someone to blame for his failure. Though adequate for that minority of individuals who are educated, enlightened and mature enough to live by it, atheism is not the answer. Our people, biological aristocrats of the planet, would be lost without a God. We have to create a new faith. Mysticism and Science are not antagonistic. They are complementary. When one rises a notch, the other follows. The White man may go to the furthest stars -– there he will still need a belief; a CREDO. We need to create a belief adequate for our survival, strength, and will to power. A faith that fits our genetic makeup, our very being. And what better God to this than; THE SACRED GENE POOL. No one knows exactly where, when, or how it came into being; whether here on earth or as is probable, in outer space. What we do know is that today, its bearers are a declining minority on this planet. This inestimable, precious Sacred Gene Pool may disappear -– for eternity.

The law of heredity holds sway. Children carry the characteristics of their fathers. Likewise the White race carries on within itself a process of spiritual perfection. If it is lost – then all is lost. Everything which today we take for granted will grind to a halt. Airlines will not fly, nor trains run. Skyscrapers will tumble down, electricity will fail. Dams will burst open while deserts will encroach whole continents. The primates left inhabiting the earth will simply revert back to the cave. Our racial enemies cannot hope to survive without us, for they have progressed only through copying us. Without the Sacred Gene Pool, without the White race –- there will be nothing!

We must breed a new religious caste. The members of this elite will be expert in cosmology, the Arcane Tradition, genetics, genetic engineering, anthropology, eugenics, and medicine. They will forge a new Science of the Spirit. They will research and study the distant origin of our race and the indissoluble bond between the White man and the cosmos, which is the fundamental basis of our existence and evolution. They will help the White man discover himself. These future priests will underpin the goals of the Europid and urge him onwards to both racial and individual self-realisation. Race and Individual - an indissoluble bond.

A race-mind; a race-consciousness gripping the volk; the Europids – linking them to a distant past and an ever-present, all-encompassing Aryan identity. A truly individual mystical experience; a mystical ecstasy. A momentous attunement with the cosmic force; the Vril - the Divine! A religious elite forging an esoteric, healthy, nature-oriented new belief that befits the White race. A primordial, sub-stratum, pre-Christian, pagan wisdom for that Elite attuned to it -- conscious, through personal experience, of the eternal truths that express the essence of the universe. A strong, indomitable caste of veritable Supermen on earth -– living Zarathustras. A new warrior-priesthood that will attempt a final, supreme struggle for the soul of the Aryan; a struggle against the Judeo-Masonic-Christian cabal choking the White man. A religious caste that will rekindle the embers left after that epic, but premature struggle of a half-century ago -- undertaken by that great political genius and leader: The Hero.

We will breed the best; in increasing numbers, by a judicious mixture within the Europid family of peoples; through a well-planned and executed eugenics programme. A humane plan, that will include the sterilisation of those with very low IQs, as well as euthanasia for those born bungled and botched. The number of children per couple would be commensurate with physical excellence and level of intelligence. For it has been amply proved that low-achievers tend to have large families. In this way, we will populate the Imperium with the most healthy, the most intelligent specimens of our race. Then we will start to colonise space. We will live in huge, clean orbiting cities and the habitable planets within our solar system. We will turn the planet earth into an ecological museum for our grandsons to visit and learn about their origins. We will heal this planet.

It is high time to adopt this new belief in THE SACRED GENE POOL.
A belief that The Universe is evolving as a Conscious Whole.
That the Universe has a consciousness, a will of its own -- a Divine Consciousness.
That We must become the conscious manifestation of the Universal Will.
That We must become Divine!
We must become ONE with the Divine Essence!
In short: a COSMOTHEIST belief.

Only thus can we be assured of the continued survival and strengthening of the White man – and the accomplishment of his sacred mission within the cosmos.

A unique personal experience
On Tuesday, 23rd July 2002 at about 11 PM Malta time, I was watching television alone in my bedroom. Suddenly the green TV lamp glowed to a strong orange, and then turned to brilliant white before bursting with a loud bang. Glass shattered and scattered around the room. A strange happening; a heightened feeling of tension gripped me.

Next day came the news that Dr. William Pierce, one of the great fighters for the White race, had passed away at about that same time.

Four days later, on Saturday the 27th of July, natvan.com broadcast Dr. Pierce's speech, Our Cause, which inspired this essay. Homage and honour to Dr. William Pierce! - Onore! Magna Europa est Patria Nostra!

Keep healthy

Hoffentlich möge all dies ein wenig Interesse in dir erwecken.
Ich wünsche dir schließlich nur noch eine angenehme Lektüre!

Unitarian? Whats that?

Cliff Reed

Questions and answers about a liberal religious alternative

Who are the Unitarians?

The Unitarians are a community of people who take their religion, or their spirituality, liberally. That is to say, we hold that all people have the right to believe what their own life-experience tells them is true; what the prompting of their own conscience tells them is right. We say that each person's spiritual or intuitive experience deserves respect; that everyone's deep reflection and reasoning on religious and ethical questions should be taken seriously.
Unitarians form a movement that tries to put these affirmations into practice. Our local religious communities offer a setting where people can worship, explore, and share faith together in an atmosphere of freedom and mutual respect.

How do Unitarians respond to "the problem of evil"?

Unitarians tend to see the world and its inhabitants in positive terms. This doesn't mean, though, that we are not conscious of "evil". One Unitarian theologian described the so-called "problem of evil" as "this old and terrible perplexity" -- and so it is. Unitarians are reluctant to produce glib solutions to it.
As far as "natural evil" (disease, earthquakes, hurricanes and so on) is concerned, Unitarians see it simply as part and parcel of living on this planet. We would not regard such phenomena as the result of supernatural agency or divine wrath. But we might want to ask just how "natural" some of these disasters really are. It is often the case that human action, or the neglect of it, can greatly exacerbate or even cause an apparently "natural" disaster. The destruction of forests, for example, is implicated in such disastrous events as flooding, landslides, climate change, and desertification. Thus the boundaries between "natural evil" and "human" or "moral" evil can become blurred.
As far as moral evil is concerned, Unitarians do not see this as an inherent or inherited feature of human nature. Let us take "evil" to describe attitudes, words, and actions that originate in malice, hatred, and ruthless self-concern. Unitarians might well see its source in a fundamentally flawed world-view, one that denies the essential connectedness of all people and all creation. However, even then we would be conscious of the immense complexity of the issue, and of our limited understanding of human motivation.
Rather than get too bogged down in theorising, most Unitarians would see tackling evil and the suffering it causes as a higher priority. As adult individuals we are responsible for ourselves. Our prime task is to examine what we do and think. Then it is to direct our own lives in such a way that they will be a blessing to those whose lives we touch.
Having done this, our responsibility extends to the wider human community. There the challenge is to respond effectively, yet lovingly, to the consequences of evil, whatever its cause.

What is the Unitarian view of human nature?

Unitarians take a scientific and evolutionary view of human origins.
We regard the biblical creation stories as myths. As myths, though, they still have value. In them are expressed deep and perceptive insights into human nature and our place in world.
However, a hard and fast view of human nature is precluded by the incompleteness of our knowledge. We have a long way to go in our exploration of human origins, biology, sociology and psychology.
Generally speaking, though, Unitarians share a positive view of human nature and human potential. While not being blind to human weakness and our capacity for evil, we do not see human beings as inherently depraved or corrupt. We have little time for the doctrines of "original sin" and inherited guilt. Rather we see human beings as having inherent and equal worth. This is regardless of all such differences as race, gender, class, creed, or sexual orientation.
Unitarians affirm that all human beings originate in the Divine Unity, all have something of God in them, all are alive with the same divine breath.
Humanity's tragedy has all too often been to lose sight of this. Thus people become alienated from each other and from the roots of their own being. To rediscover an awareness of our connectedness with each other and with our common origin is one of the objects of the spiritual quest.
On the fraught question of whether human nature and human destiny are free or determined, Unitarians come down on the side of freedom. Our forebears had little time for the old Calvinist ideas of predestination or for superstitions like astrology.
More serious considerations come into play with such issues as the influence of the environment in which we are raised and, increasingly, with genetic determinants. Although the jury is still out here, Unitarians recognise their importance. Unitarians accept that human beings are moulded by many influences and live within certain parameters. However, we believe that people remain capable of free choice and self-determination. Indeed, our freedom is enhanced the more we understand the factors that influence us. And to the extent that we are free, then to that extent we are also responsible.

Daily Journal

TUPELO - Crofton and Camille Sloan's annual winter solstice party lights up Christmas week for many friends who look forward to the good cheer of a roaring bonfire, a hearty meal and always encouraging words by Crofton about the triumph of light over darkness.

The solstice - commonly described as the "shortest day" of the year -happens in the Northern Hemisphere on Dec. 21 or Dec. 22. In the Southern Hemisphere, the seasons are reversed, and, in effect, the "summer" solstice falls on those same dates.

It is a clearly measured, universally known, precisely calculated astronomical phenomena that has been observed with fascination and anticipated for thousands of years. In antiquity, people from Babylon to near the Arctic circle marked it with ceremony, renewed optimism and in the context of various kinds of religious faith.

Christmas - the Christian holiday - is a direct, lineal descendant of ancient, pagan observances that were converted, so to speak, by early Christians in Rome, the western Mediterranean, Germany and elsewhere.

"It is the day with the shortest amount of light each year," Crofton Sloan noted. "We chose it for our party because it is associated with the hope that light will overcome darkness, and we build a fire to bring light into the darkness. Of course, in our context, that is Christ coming into the world to bring light into the darkness."

Crofton said guests are encouraged to pitch both oak and holly into the fire - oak an ancient and sturdy symbol of life that is coming and holly a symbol of life that continues and endures even in the cold and dark.

His brief but structured greeting for his guests always includes both the ancient pagan mythology and the Christian story.

Professor Bob Wolverton, a classicist who teaches foreign languages at Mississippi State University, said winter solstice celebrations have their ancient roots in Babylon, Greece and Rome.

The followers of the god Mythros, among others, placed significant store in marking the solstice and using rituals to ensure the return of light, Wolverton said.

In the 4th century of what's called the Common Era, the Emperor Constantine - who Christianized the Roman Empire and was baptized into the faith a few days before his death - according to a campaign legend saw a "white cross" blazing in the solstice sky.

He believed it was the cross of Christ, and he had his troops paint the cross on their shields. In his war to win control of the Empire, he later defeated soldiers who followed Mythros, and legend says those soldiers had the sun, a symbol of Mythros, painted on their shields.

Constantine's Christian imprint on the Empire, Wolverton said, led to marking Christmas as Christ's birth on Dec. 25, converting the pagan Roman Saturnalia festival into a Christian holy day.

"Christians are very good at borrowing ideas from other religions and adapting them for their own," said Wolverton, who is president of the MSU faculty Senate and one of the longest-tenured teachers on the Starkville campus.

Wolverton said the practice among some Southerners of shooting fireworks at Christmas time probably has some connections to ancient practices of hoping light will return, bursting on the scene to defeat darkness.

The same line of traditions, he noted, is associated with the Germanic ritual of symbolizing life in deep wintertime with an evergreen tree illuminated with candles - the forebearers of today's electrically lighted and decorated Christmas trees and extravagant outdoor displays.

Solstice Time

Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, marks the solstice - the beginning of winter in the Northern Hemisphere and summer in the Southern Hemisphere. The precise moment of the 2006 solstice will be at 6:22 p.m. CST.

As the Earth orbits around the sun, the sun's north-south position changes due to changes in the Earth's tilt. When this tilt is at its greatest, that's the summer solstice and winter solstice, and the dates of zero tilt are the vernal equinox and autumnal equinox.

In the Northern Hemisphere, the winter solstice is the day of the year - near or on Dec. 22 - when the sun is farthest south. However, in the Southern Hemisphere, winter and summer solstices are exchanged so that the winter solstice is the day on which the sun is farthest north. The winter solstice marks the first day of winter. The noon orientation of the sun on the northern winter solstice is called the Tropic of Capricorn (-23* 27').

The winter solstice is the day with the shortest length of time between sunrise and sunset.

Scientists in China say they have uncovered the 145 million year old fossil of a two headed 'dragon'.
The creature was not a fire-breathing monster but a deformed baby lizard, reports the Daily Mail.
Researchers say it had two distinct heads and necks and is believed to be the earliest example of a creature developing in such a way.

Scientists think it belonged to an ancient family of now-extinct reptiles that grew up to three feet long.
However the fossil is less than three inches long because it probably died shortly before or just after it was born.
The fossil comes from the choristodera family of reptiles which evolved crocodile-like characteristics.

Such mutations occur among reptiles when the layer of cells from which an embryo develops splits incorrectly but this is the oldest one ever discovered.
Lead researcher Dr Eric Buffetaut from the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in Paris, said: "This two headed reptile seems to be unique in the fossil record."

US mailboxes go R2-D2 for Star Wars anniversary

Los Angeles, United States

16 March 2007 04:39

Hundreds of R2-D2s will be popping up on street corners all over the United States in the coming months as part of celebrations to mark the 30th anniversary of Star Wars.

The US Postal Service said on Thursday that about 400 mailboxes across the country will be revamped with special packaging to make them look like the famous chirruping robot from the science-fiction film and its five sequels.

A special stamp commemorating Star Wars, which was released on May 25 1977, is to be issued on March 28 when a "surprise announcement" is also to be made, officials said.

Customers will be able to use the R2-D2 boxes just like any of the 280 000 postal service mailboxes around the country.

One of the mailboxes will be situated outside the famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood -- one of the first cinemas to screen Star Wars 30 years ago. -- AFP

How To Train Your Dragon is a must see. To me, this film has one of the best portrayals of Viking culture and beliefs I've ever seen in a Hollywood produced film. The characters are often stubborn and hardheaded, with pale skin, braided blonde/brown hair, and, to my eyes, fairly authentic garb. The Vikings are portrayed as great and powerful instead of as savages. Some Jews and an Hispanic girl do a few of the voices, but we also get Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, and David Tennant. There's not a single non-White character on the screen the entire movie. With so many Jews involved I expected it to have raunchy, inappropriate toilet humor pop up every so often but there was none whatsoever, it's safe for all ages. There's a bold moment at the end which I was surprised to see in a childrens film and it makes for a touching connection between two characters. Additional high points are the subtle but effective use of 3D, the beautiful aurora borealis scene, frequent mentions of Odin and Thor, and a score that soars just as much as the spectacular flying sequences. I'm shocked critics are praising this movie, it holds a 97% on RottenTomatoes, http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/1194522-how_to_train_your_dragon/. Best film of the year so far.

Minus the horned helmets of course :P It doesnt look half bad.

Yea, and I almost mentioned that, but since it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the picture I didn't mention it. Plus it could have been worse, at least it wasn't wings lol.

Here's an example of the awesome score:
