The transport to Auschwitz took two weeks. His sick father died on the journey. Upon arrival, they had to strip and submit to an inspection. Ganon's mother and five siblings were then sent to the gas chambers.

Yitzhak Ganon was taken to the Auschwitz-Birkenau hospital, where Josef Mengele, the so-called "Angel of Death," conducted grisly experiments on Jewish prisoners.

Ganon had to lie down on a table and was tied down. Without any anesthetics, Mengele cut him open and removed his kidney. "I saw the kidney pulsing in his hand and cried like a crazy man," Ganon says. "I screamed the 'Shema Yisrael.' I begged for death, to stop the suffering."

After the "operation," he had to work in the Auschwitz sewing room without painkillers. Among other things, he had to clean bloody medical instruments. Once, he had to spend the whole night in a bath of ice-cold water because Mengele wanted to "test" his lung function. Altogether, Ganon spent six and a half months in the concentration camp's hospital.

And the miracle survival:

When they had no more use for him, the Nazis sent him to the gas chamber. He survived only by chance: The gas chamber held only 200 people. Ganon was number 201.

He could try to sell the copyright of his story for a Hollywood movie script?

Hmm, I'm no Holocaust denier but I've to admit myself this story rings a little bit dubious. A surgery without anesthetics and a kidney which is removed pulsating? If the kidney is removed, how does it pulsate? Because the blood doesn't feed the organ anymore. Maybe he was having some hallucinations.

How much more bulls*** are these alleged Holocaust $urvivors going to come up with to get attention and leech off Germany's reparation money? Just when you think you've heard it all, someone else has to come up with a scandalous story to make it on front page headlines.

Remember those stories of Jewish soap and skin lampshades? People believed them, and continue to believe them, even after they were proved to be fake. I wouldn't be surprised if they believe this too.

I am laughing my a** off. I am also sure if that didn't kill him the 'gas'chamber wouldn't have killed either.

If he didn't go to the doctor that might have been the trick for his long life.

There was a movie called the Grey Zone, about the Holocaust, adapted from Nyiszli's book, who assisted Mengele and told all sorts of stories about him. In the movie, there was a girl who survived the gassing, because she found a pocket of air or something, and some Jews who were responsible of shutting the gaschamber doors and disposing of the bodies felt pity and saved her with the help of doctor Nyiszli, who gave her some anti-gas injection.
