Iceland's "sexiest celebrity" (female one that is)

An Icelandic magazine called Sirkuss has just published a poll in order to find out who is Iceland’s “sexiest” celebrity (whereas some of these ladies are far from being good looking, only being included since they are news reporters etc and thus are a well known face).

Here is the shocking part though (well not really seeing how multicultural they are), the magazine managed to find every single of Iceland’s known foreigners (out of the tiny percentage of them out there) to be include in the poll. So for a country where the population of foreigners is just about 1.8% (that’s not including British, American ,Scandinavians, Germans and Poles who make up the most part of our non Icelandic population), they managed to make this poll full of women who are non Icelandic or who have one Icelandic parent and the other non Nordish. Obviously it didn’t matter if the celebrity is butt ugly, if she’s Asian she gets in. :coffee:

I realise this is peanuts compared to the problems some European countries are facing, but I’m just furious that in a poll judging an Icelander a great deal of the choices listed arnt even that to begin with, (nationality is just a little booklet these days it seems, and heritage is nothing)

Anyways rant over ;) , now go and vote and make sure a mud doesn’t win

A country where it is generally agreed that over half of the people in it are phenotypically Trønders and the rest made up of other Nords, and where immigration rates are lower than in any other European country... so I find it a bit cheeky to include many non-Nords in the poll :coffee:
I mean I could understand putting Björk in, despite not being what we call a Nord, for she's from Iceland at least, but having half-Thais in a poll about Icelandic people..? Umm... :scratch: :speechles

The non-Icelandics were a bit distracting; they stuck out like sore thumbs. Now looking again, I think Lára Rúnarsdóttir trúbador is nice looking, but she is on a row with the foreigners.

Beauty and youth are not synonymous. I find that many mature women are beautiful, for example. Yet, of course, beauty and attraction are totally different; I would only feel attracted to a lady roughly my age group. ;)

They know what they want and have the skill, rather than lying as boards and expecting the man to do everything.
Less fuss before and after too.
Also some of them are actually keeping themselves fitter than girls half their age.
