The guy labelled as Nordische Kernrasse has my profile, except my jaw is deeper and my head sticks out more at the back.

To be honest, I don't think he looks completely Nordic. I would say he's a borderline Noric/Nordic if I had to be specific.

The Westic ("Mediterranean") type is really rare, though. I must say I have never seen such a face in Germany.

Mediterranean blood is among ethnic Germans quite rare and can mostly be found in the region left of the river Rhine (Palatine, especially Mosel valley and then the whole Rheinland up to Aachen and Cologne) - but even there it's of course nowhere a dominating type and can only be found as a certain element in the population. Only few people will be found who are really pure or very predominantly Mediterranean.

The only prominent German showing predominantly the Mediterranean (westisch) type, who comes to my mind, is Joseph Goebbels (from Rheydt in the country left of the river Rhine).

I think in Southern Austria (Carinthia) there's also a certain Mediterranean element, and then especially in Vienna.

In a Video i saw, where Hitler speaks in "Nürnberg", there you can see a drummer at the beginning that has also this kind of face.

But I don't see (many?) people with this kind of face, too.

It is good to note they were still considered germans. Even though they were not of the ancient germanic tribes or of many of our ancestors, we still treat them as brothers and friends. But the post-war propaganda would like you to belive that we though blonde people were some super-german and better than the rest. That is just not true.

Absolutely true, I have seen some germans with a strong med strain, in fact until they began to speak in German I did not guess his nationality. This book is a magnificent example of the position of the nacionalsocialism with respect to the white race in general.

Btw, the pics of the falish and med types are not the best examples of these subraces.

Yeah, but you must notice that the racial names are westisch and nordisch, and not westlich (western) and nördlich (northern), so they are more a reference to these directions.

The reason why Günther had created the racial name westisch for mediterran was because for him mediterran was too geographically specific for him, and people wonder that up to Western France, Britain and Ireland "Mediterranean" people are found and the prehistorical culteure of these "Mediterraneans" has spreaded. So westisch points out more the general spreading and direction of this race in European context and isn't as exclusively connected with recently well-known and existing geographical terms like the Mediterranean Sea.

The fact that in Germany the Meds are geographically Westische wasn't the decisive reason for this term.
